Both my sons are dairy Intolerant. But it’s a milk protein allergy, not lactose. Most doctors tell you that they grow out if it, but there’s a lot of interesting reading that suggests the symptoms just show in a different way. Alpro soya deserts are really good, as are the yogurts. Sainsburys sweetened soya milk is good on cereal, not found any good in tea or coffee.

There’s a relatively new milk out called A2 which is from a Specific breed of cow. It has one of the common proteins that is the cause of most allergies missing

only thing that puts me off 1×11 is the cost of a replacement cassette. however, given that x1 is out now, and starting to appear on more and more bikes, i imagine the price will start falling

Apparently canyon won’t let you pay in euros if you’re shipping to a UK address – got a 7 ex on order myself. Even at the UK price it’s a be,ting deal. The May delivery is shitty though

Chilli cheese is awesome. As for the child jam. NOTHING comes close to making your own with your home grown chillis. It’s stupidly easy and tastes ace

I found an online calculator for her state, and over a 4 hour period she would have been estimated just under. Very surprised. Still a stupid thing to do, and not something is ever do

The irony is she lost her father to a drunk driver –

This is stateside – there was no reasoning with her whatsoever. Don’t know what the limit is there. It’s was over about 3 to 4 hours. I certainly wouldn’t drink 4 pints and drive, but I also don’t drink 3 pints daily.

Looking at the TT Length to my current fuel ex, definitely a large. It still comes up shorter than the trek

I’m almost identical in size to you, and I would say large. Thinking of ordering too

Picked up some of the 5 quid gloves, only had large though, and they. seem to come up small. Our store never seem to have the xl in anything. The leaflet showed 2 waterproofs, one at 20 quid and one at 30 that said breathable. The Macc store haven’t got the dearer one in though and said they won’t be. So I got the cheap one. Seems ok, but a generous cut, so may be a bit parachuty

i meant the best part of a hundred quid. What bonus does this give you over something like a gemini duo or gloworm X1 for instance?

I bought a felt heretic 16 for my eldest. It’s mint. He liked riding it, but the wheels never left the ground. May keep it for my youngest, but could be pursuaded to sell if you were interested

Phone gps is not great. I had the run of my life on a local descent, took the KOM/1100 riders by 4 secs. Within 3 hours someone had knock nearly 30 seconds off it. Bearing in mind it’s roughly a 2 minute descent ! Unless he was on a crosser then I think there’s a little bit of margin for error.

Oh and we’ve juiced enough apples to make 12 large bottles of juice. I’d have given cider a go, but I’m not a fan!

Been an awesome year for free fruit. Our freezer is jammed full of bilberries, red currants, black currants, blackberries and raspberries. Damsons aren’t quite ready for picking yet

No way I’d return, or pay for it. Their mistake. Oakley mis-priced some fancy glasses a while back. I seem to remember quite a few people on here ordering before the mistake was spotted. They all got the glasses at the bargain price

Lots of cheeky trails to ride in the park, just go early. Years and years ago they held a race there. XC and DH. The downhill started near the White House up towards the bowstones. Remember watching Fred salmon , Tim Gould and David baker racing.

Using pedros ice wax ATM. Very clean, but doesn’t seem to last that well. Might be better on the road though
