I bought some a couple of weeks ago too – 49.99 at parkers of Bolton ;) – good shape, and rise. I took 10mm of each end though, which would have been nice to have pre printed cut lines.

I tried the gold, and wasn’t that impressed with its longevity. Currently using Morgan blue race oil. Applied to each link on a cleaned chain, span and then wiped as much as possible after its had a while to penetrate. Definitely stays put, far better than any dry lube or wax based product. Does attract a bit more dirt, but I clean and relube regularly so not an issue.

I tried my 150s with and without a token, and to be honest didn’t notice a vast difference – run without

its a 34t SRAM X1 taz, so its 94BCD, not many rings available :/

so I should buy a 34T then Taz? as it will feel easier than the regular round one I currently have? i want to be off the top of the cassette a little on the steep stuff, hence why i was looking at 32 originally

thanks all. I was looking at the AB rings too. So am I right in thinking a 32T one makes the easy part of the cycle easier, (like a 30T)? and the hard bit similar to my current 34T?

Yes. Take my two lads every now and then to the roller disco, it’s ace! However people kept staring at my gold crop top and hotpants

Keaveny is the new moyles – 6 is nowhere near as good as it used to be, but I still haven’t found anything better?

Local shop sung the praises of Morgan blue race oil to me yesterday. So I’m giving that a whirl.

squirt is a no-go then. ice wax would be great if it lasted more than a couple of hours. Few people have recommended the regular pro gold to me as well, so may give that a whirl.

What’s squirt like in wet and muddy conditions (so 85% of the year)

That purple extreme sounds promising – if it is anywhere near the cleanliness of a dry lube, but lasts at least one ride I’ll be happy

Great for browsing – but I find them awful for working with, but I like to rest two fingers on a mouse, and it confuses the gestures

Tried the rock n roll gold – pretty good, but expensive when you have to drench your chain in it – lots of wastage.

I’ve ordered one, as it is right on the money size and dimension wise for me. If I die, you’ll know it was no good :)

7ex in black here. Had it about a month now. The anodised finish is pretty tough, but the downside is it’s difficult to tape up as it won’t stick very well. Ignored the sizing guide and went for a large, and it’s spot on for me. Long legs, short torso

Dealers get a kickback from the manufacturer for every new car sold, and for every car they keep with the dealer network (trade-ins) so they will offer great deals on new cars to keep their stock plentiful

seat stay snapped on my 7 year old fuel ex. Admittedly, it was a known weak spot by the brake mount, but the replaced the stays, and supplied a new rocker and bearings from an EX9 – all FOC.

    brilliant aftermarket service
