And yes, ML. Size-wise, it feels very similar to my Large Tyee did

Yup Grurple. Yet to see it pop, as it’s as grey and wet as it gets at the moment

Just a bit of fun. Paint was looking tired, but mechanically sound. So I decided to freshen them up. I love fox orange, so the fox shox were born!

Yes, it’s grurple. Not had any decent daylight since it arrived! But it switches between a dark British racing green, to a look at me, I’m the artist formally known as prince, purple. Really great. Can’t wait to ride it

Finally got frame this week. After a bit of faffing and a late night, i got it built up. Hopefully a shakedown ride tomorrow morning, as long as the rain isn’t biblical. Leant on my local mechanic to complete the build, due to lack of a few tools. Initial impressions. The paint is ahhhmazing. Flips between fade into the crowd, and look at me! Lighter than my previous carbon Tyee. No internal cable guides added a bit of extra faff which i could have done without. But the comparative cost savings make sense.

A guy who used to work with my mum, before becoming a postmaster, lost his house, and reputation over this scandal. Unbelievable how it all got swept under the carpet

Anyone got one of the early release bikes ? Keen to hear how you’re getting on!

I had a Wheels MF on mine. Wasn’t impressed with the bearing life tbh. Didn’t last any longer than the SRAM

Bird are offering these as an option, so I assume they space correctly. Lifetime guarantee too

No further word on the pre order frames though…

Very much so. They reference it in the spiel on site. I had purchased a Swann, but I found it a little illegible in certain lights, due to the chamfering on the hands. They released some preview snippets of this new chrono series, so I returned the Swann and pre ordered this. Really pleased with it

Had a CF 29er for a couple of years. Upgraded quite a bit since I’ve had it. Nothing comes close for VFM and weight. I’ll maybe swap it for the newer frame when it comes out

really like that Yema, but can’t help thinking the markers are somewhat phallic.

I had an Elliot Brown, Tyneham. Mainly as most of their watches are too big for my skinny wrist, the STW collab included.

decathlon had some non boxed 10-50 mechs in a while back. not sure if they still have them. You’re looking at October from most places. I ended up going to GX AXS to avoid the wait

I went with the KS Lev. I tried to swap it to the BikeYoke after id ordered, but it would have meant losing my build slot to amend the order, so left it. It’s OK, although the collar has come loose a couple of times

Received my Tyee CF 29er last week. Had first ride out on it yesterday. Previously had a spectral 7EX which I loved. Standard GX spec, but upgraded the fork, shock and wheel set. Read all the reviews, and decided it was worth a punt. Its heavier than the Canyon, but not massively so at all, which was a nice surprise. For a 160mm rear end, it climbs really well. Tyre caught the cabling that exits under the bottom bracket once when the wheel/tyre flexed on a fast corner. Descends like a big bike should. thinking I should have perhaps paid the extra for the codes lol. Overall, really impressed with it

Washing machine packed up. Was most likely the brushes on the motor. £13 and a scuffed knuckle, and I saved myself a 100 quid repair call out

Or get another S-150, but get a Large not an XL, as the XL you had was too big for you… Absolutely awesome bike for the money, but riding the wrong size isn’t going to help! 🤷🏻‍♂️

all 150’s are sold out, and discontinued for next year

My shock failed on my canyon – sent it back to canyon, who passed it onto SRAM, who promptly lost it. Took weeks of hassle to get a replacement. However, a word with one of their representatives at the bike show in Bham, and I had a loan shock the next day. So they’re not all bad

Mine did exactly the same thing. took it back to halfords yesterday. no receipt – they swapped it for the updated one.

yes, have the keyring and the wallet one – wouldn’t be without them, as I’m always misplacing my sh1t.

my last ones started behaving erratically after about 2 years.

    well worth it for me

had this with my youngest, at around the same age. he was very aware of it, and said “daddy, i can’t talk anymore” which was awful. we were referred to a speech therapist. by the time we had an appt through, (couple of months) it had almost completely disappeared. the specialist said his brain was working faster than he could vocalise, hence the stammer.

he’s 5 now, and no problems

a local rink opened up in our town. I started taking our 2 lads, who love it. It’s boring watching for 3 hours, so I had a go. It’s ace fun. I now own some awesome SEBA blades :)
