Would concur with the “you’ll more than likely drop it in the first year” thing so don’t be too precious over a first bike.

Cbr600fs is a weapon in the right hands and an awesome all rounder.

well a friend borrowed the c456 that the crosstrails are on and properly bounced the rear on a kerb with a VERY bad bunnyhop and there’s not a sign of it with it being out of true so they are fairly strong

If i was buying again, for the ~£200 difference i’d go for crosstrails. or crossmax SX for the wider (21mm) rim.

    i’ve got both.

crosstrail hub is louder (might need lube though!!), marginal weight differance, crossmax st looks better.

a keen negotiating skill is essential when hunting in the classifieds. i’ve had many offers turned down before getting a cheeky offer accepted.

Had one of the original attacks, failed miserably after just a few uses. Taped seams all fell off and main zip failed (3 or 4 teeth came off rendering it useless)

LBS swapped it for a gore one that has performed flawlessly….

Jeebus… Makes me realise exactly how lucky I’ve been after breaking both wrists and a collarbone, then being back on a bike after 4 months.

Glad to see you’ve recovered enough to get back out riding again!

Just been upgraded for my company van from peugeot bipper to renault trafic. Massive step forward, better drive, quieter, comfier and cavernous in the back.

My one was a preregistered one with 26 miles on the clock and on the forecourt for 11,995 from 19k.

Fraid I can’t comment on pcp or finance though…
