    I’m part of a motorbike forum, have been for about 8 years. In that time there’s at least 1 or 2 RIP threads a year from commuting related incidents.

    Not trying to be morbid, just make sure you’ve got your eyes open, your wits about you and assume that everyone in a car is either on the phone, having a shave, putting on makeup, or half asleep.

    On the plus side bikes are frikkin awesome!! (and Trackdays ROCK!!)

    got a gopro wide from a guy on one of the motorbike forums works really well with the chest mount but will be replacing it with either an hd hero or the 960 model.

    the new screen attachment is available for the back of the hd one but not the 960.

    either way they’re pretty expensive but are VERY good…

    Have previously been a bit more adventurous riding unfamiliar routes but in the dark over wet roots really didn’t want to take too many risks (until the metalwork comes out again)

    As of the 1st jan it isn’t even legal to keep a taxed but uninsured car OFF off the road. If it is taxed it must be insured, the end….
