Riding time of about 5 1/2 hrs, but car to car was 12.5

All in all, a good ride except a bit gutted to have to have missed Leith Hill as we missed the cut off.

But I can recommend having diarrhoea for the last 60 miles of a bike ride for a combined weight loss of 6lb in one day.

Up in 4.5hrs for the 90 mile drive…. Wide awake.

Well interestingly my oil warning flashed on this morning… So went to the dealer to get them to top it up (full maintenance lease… I’m not that lazy normally)

4L in 11,800 it took to top up.

So I should make it to 18,000 within the 12 months for it’s first service without another.

I’ve got one, ntec+ but with the 1.5dci engine.

Getting about 54-58mpg on my A road commute to work, it was initially a bit slow but now I’m used to it now. Comfy at 80+ through France on the autoroute.

Interior is wearing pretty fast on some of the hard plastic area’s (like kick plates)

No issues yet in 7 months / 12,000 miles

I’d rather that if they didn’t supply pedals it couldn’t be classed as a bike…..

That way every time I buy a new complete bike I don’t need to waste the first half hour of it’s life decrapifying it by taking off all the reflectors, spoke protectors & BS sticker

That said…. pedals, grips and saddles are such a personal choice, 9/10 they all go in the parts bin anyway

Alright if you stick to mainstream places, helpfully most restaurants won’t take it outside of chains.

Non chain hotels tend to charge £2.50 or 2.5% as the fees they’re charged are higher.

Literally useless in non-cities in Germany, and on the continent generally.
