Better school trips & even more holiday based on one of my friends that does it.

Comes with kids that have a sense of entitlement & a shed load of disposable income for drugs too (I’m near one famous for having famous kids)

Is it a new house? Therefore warranty obligations?

If it’s sold as seen, then it doesn’t matter – the conveyancing process will hold onto your momey

Best check your religious beliefs then…

    Or shave.

Facial hair – stubble and beards – make it impossible to get a good seal of the mask to the
    face.
If you are clean-shaven when wearing tight-fitting masks (ie those which rely on a good seal
to the face), this will help prevent leakage of contaminated air around the edges of the mask
and into your lungs. You will therefore be breathing in clean air, which will help you stay
    healthy.
If there are good reasons for having a beard (eg for religious reasons), alternative
forms of RPE, that do not rely on a tight fit to the face, are available.

Why would you want to not have a functioning dust mask?

That said, there’s a solution to these kind of ‘problems’ – we had some chaps with religious beliefs that meant they couldn’t shave their beards, so an alternative solution was sought.

    Is yours a religious reason?

Not designed to be inflammatory, but I suspect it’s only designed to provide the bare minimum…. And the allowance is sufficient for most of the UK I suspect.

Sure, it might not be exactly what they want, in the area they want… But that’s the consequences of choices isn’t it?

Good solid advice there. One of my vices is my peers (or team) that aren’t into the product.

I vaguely recall there being a rule that states the repayment deductions cannot leave you with a net pay under minimum wage.

But they’re not… They’ve given it to him already so it’s not a deduction in the straight sense.

Have a think about what you want to end up buying. There’s plenty of procurement jobs dealing with aircraft carrier parts but a lot of the interesting work will be handled by engineers (e.g. Supplier selection)

Funny you chose that as your example…. When I worked on exactly that programme.

You couldn’t be more off the mark on my equipment!

Yup. Fell into it. Made a career out of it. It’s all good, if you can find / make a niche as I have.

CIPS is a good door opener, but experience is also what people want to see (chicken / egg scenario). Level 4, 5 & 6 eventually. But you don’t need it.

Where are you based? My firm is always looking for people to bring in & train up.

Sounds like you’ve been ultimate friend zoned. Unless she’s got you on some retainer of a promise, I’d let whoever’s looking after her now do the running about

Shirley the answer is a big massive heavy box is what you want to send the courier away with?

In fact, so heavy it’s held while she pays the courier more money to ship it once they’ve taken delivery.

The maximum penalties for carrying out unauthorised works to a listed building are currently a fine of £20,000 or six months’ imprisonment on summary conviction and an unlimited fine or two years’ imprisonment on indictment.

Yeah, I think I’d want to get them involved vs that penalty
