Yup, but enigma just bought a job lot of ex Halfords stock, so there’s some out there in all but new condition

I have an inbred as well, and it’s a decent frame. You won’t go wrong – but currently the inbreds are “expensive” in their variable pricing!

    2x Voodoo wanga’s? 😉

Voodoo Wanga’s just recently impulse bought on eBay for £100 are cropping up unused in the classifieds

Tidy little frames, with slidey dropouts

I saw one in yellow on Saturday, and the owner was kind enough to let me have a car park test (mid trail)

So I’m hoping to go pay them a visit as they’re so close by…

It looks burlier than the photo’s make it look – lots of clearance around the rear wheel too.

Could she apply her accountancy qualifications if she had to? Assuming ANOther company would have to train in their policies, procedures, methods etc is it conceivable she could do ‘the job’?

If so… Some rewording of the experience at company X to be less prescriptive to SAP HR stuff could be done?

I see lots of CV’s at work, that have already been filtered by our recruitment team… It’s surprising how bad a CV can read sometimes… Maybe get someone neutral/brutal to cast an eye over? (this is a thinly veiled offer if you wanted)

Inbreds have gone up in price (was £139.99)

    Mines going on eBay now!

    New Enduro frame?

Thruxton has fairly limited trackside access, with most of the track off limits to spectators

I much prefer Silverstone (despite it being an extra hours drive for me) – plus if the sprogs are into F1 at all, it has a certain appeal.

If it’s newish / not had a bad life / left in the sun I’d take it back

I showed my wife the thread to reinforce the purchase I expect to make later this month 🙂

To be fair…. She does let me buy what I need like

Agree, expenses policy seems outdated… It’s rare I can find a ‘business’ hotel for sub £100

Also, per diems, even for personal out of pocket expenses seems reasonable (you won’t get rich out of it…)

Googled ‘bike frame repairs’ and the first link has a price of £160 (http://bikefix.co.uk/frame-repairs) obviously new paint required all over, which shouldn’t be too bad (or could be very bad if you want it to be pretty)

I’m sure I saw a method where it was pulled out (as above) then silver soldered or braze dribbled in & then polished out to near round.

Picked three up (two spares, one for a mate) via click & collect earlier.

Staff were amused when I asked them to scan them through & I’ll pay ticket price rather than the ‘discounted’ internet price he was adamant was going to be cheaper.

I felt a bit like dick turpin walking out with that value of goods for £60

Will keep an eye on it – thanks

Took it out for a shakedown this morning, probably shouldn’t have bothered though as it had just finished torrential rain up at QECP

Anyway, rode well, pops up the front nicely

Apologies for the zip ties, I’ve not drilled out the routing yet

Don’t know what model the rims are (OEM Alexrims/Merida stuff) but they’re not all that wide.

Much more clearance if you pull the wheel back. Looking forward to chucking it about at QECP in the morning now

One decent living space is more preferable, but only if it doesn’t feel like a long thin corridor… Can you do anything with the corridor that runs front to back?

Just read the thread again front to end, and according to my wife I had leaky eyes (which is no mean feat)

I’ve no idea how to respond, other than I can’t imagine what is going on in your mind(s) – made especially worse when I twigged how young he must be.

I’ll keep checking in for your updates, I hope they are making you feel better somehow

Raided the rest of the parts bin, and finished mine off in time for a quick round the block ride

Compared to my other bikes, it’s short up front & short back end with the drop outs pushed forward which makes for manuals & wheelies to be pulled far too easily 🙂

Not much clearance at the back with a Smorgasboard, but I’ve got the fat bike for mud

With 120mm forks on it, the HA is 69degrees, which isn’t too shabby

Kid I went to school with from right through until I was 18, even doing the same A levels in a small class (of 5) decided to take the honourable route & became a teacher.

A few years ago, we were looking at a 15yr reunion, and it turned out he was in prison for banging a couple of the pupils inside & outside of school.

    He wasn’t a weirdo when I knew him…

    15 mins down the A3

QECP, red trail, way marked no need for an OS Map

And at 6pm most days you probably won’t be the only one out… Let me know if you’re interested – I’m back into night rides again

Pick the right estate (if you can)

I bought a new build earlier in the year… 4 bed detached, 3 car driveway, half my kitchen cupboards are empty & the downstairs loo doubles as the utility (currently has just the washer/dryer in it) – I do have a spare fridge & old tumble dryer in the garage though, more for convenience than anyway

Compared to our outgoing 3 bed 60’s semi, the heating bills are greatly reduced (due to having some insulation) and water consumption is very very low… No complaints

Build quality is fine, with snags. But better than 50 yrs of poor DIY

That’s bad mOrk. Back in BCF days our lot were very supportive, I’m sure Matt Stepens used to come out over winter on his MTB?

Pissed the club off more when I turned up to most of the summer evening 10’s on my MTB with slicks and still knocked out a sub 25min

Anyway, way to alienate the juveniles/juniors at the time

It’s good to see they’re appreciating a broader market these days
