Well, I have a mmbop, with air revs, and light but functional parts, and i dont KNOW but i would guess it's weight is about 27-29 pounds, it could easily be lighter… Great bikes by the way.

trust me, chains snapping can send you over the bars… I split my helmet last summer doing that, and still have a dodgy elbow from the same crash….

Sounds lovely… I miss my early morning rides, but most of all the rides home (except when it was cold, dark, wet and windy). They use to be the perfect start to a day, and I've been as fit since.

Sadly it's impossible with my current job.

I agree with David , you should talk to the people who built them, see If they are ok with it… It's very annoying if you build trails then find sone numpty has ridden then then left them damaged…

In terms of the bike, get a bmx. If not I'd go 24 inch rigid singlespeed with just a back brake.

well, the 'jumps' at the gully are appaling. They dont work, are badly built and are just a bit crap really. Its not surprising people hurt themselves.

I didn't. I said I wasn't going to ride at all this weekend, due to cycling every day for about 20 days. Body is ****, but I still ended up riding both days. It's a proper addiction.
