Yep I’ve got one mate. Complete impulse buy but absolutely love it. I’ve got the teal version with the lefty. Loads of grip and seems to roll over everything. Seemed to me to be a decent buy for the spec. The red model looks cool as well!

Slightly OT but I Impulse bought a 27.5+ Hardtail yesterday. Took it for a quick spin today and loving it. Only problem is in the current conditions the spray from the front wheel. The issue is it’s got a lefty- anyone got any ideas of any mudguards that will fit? Also how are people finding the nobby nics. I’ve got WTB bridgers on i45 rims. The grip seemed pretty good when I dropped the pressure to around 10 psi but the nics look like they’ve got a pretty aggressive tread. Thanks

I test rode one and didn’t feel like it was any better than my blur TRC at the time. Then tested the nomad- and bought one. So much more confident descending than the bronson. Some would say completely overbiked but I’m no slower climbing on it and way quicker downhill! I’d definitely say try one before ordering the bronson

Pretty sure I didn’t jambo? It’s a section within a descent so I’m pedalling into and out of it. It is half covered by trees though so I’m thinking interrupted signal

Anyone else get a bit frustrated with it. Ride tonight with a mate and we were both using it, 2 and a half minute descent and I’m in front all the way down and getting away. My mate ends up being a minute faster than me? How does that work? Same phone and same version of strava?

Tom I’ve just done exactly the same. The A1 is definitely a little cooler but doesn’t soak up sweat anywhere near as well as the urge. It’s a comfy lid but I’m undecided if I’m 100% sold on it tbh

Very interesting to see what they do then! That steep bank drop isn’t too bad, the steps onto the bridge I’d say are worse. Also some little log jumps at the top. Best to ride it at night or non-peak times

yeh RD is right no need to use the style. I fear for that trail soon though- people are building little features which will always draw attention. Best off keeping it natural

I wouldn’t say Clent and the Lickeys are limited. Think the Lickeys are RocketDogs area- pretty sure they did a feature on them in the mag not too long ago. Never ridden in chaddesley despite it being very close- I’m not sure if they’ve got a ‘no cycling’ policy over there though

Have to agree with northwind. I wanted a mary but couldn’t get one anywhere so went for a shorty. Just lean on it in wet/loose turns and the grip is amazing

I’ve got a montane featherlight down and I’ve been nothing but impressed so far. Really warm and packs down very small. I carry it in my riding pack for cafe stops and post ride faffing, but also use it like I would have done a fleece. Great jacket- had mine from go outdoors but I think they are on offer at outdoorgb at the moment

I’ve got them on my nomad. No problems so far. Light and stiff. I ditched the tyres straight away. Have run them with maxxis and schwalbe tubeless without issues

Transition smuggler might be an idea? Similar to a banshee phantom I think. Not the lightest but looks a fun bike! You’ll be surprised at what the shorter travel 29ers are capable of. I’ve spent a lot of time on a tallboy and sometimes it makes me question why I’ve got a Nomad!

Anyone have clearance issues whilst in the 10t? Chain is really rubbing the frame with my setup

Recently had XO1 put on my TRc-anyone find that when on the 10t cog the chain is very close to where the chainstay meets the seatstay?
