I have a set of MAgura mt5 calipers on Shimano zee levers which feel great to me all the power you could possibly need and a nice feeling lever, I only changed the levers as I have had too many magura levers fail and leak. Getting the magura hose to seal on the lever took a couple of attempts and I ended up using magura olives and barbs as the hose diameter is smaller than Shimano hose. Been running them a month with no issues. I also have a set with deore levers which don’t feel quite as good but that may be because they are old levers

I have metal bushes in mine and they have been play free for about a year and a half. I regrease them every 3 moths or so and only cost £3 on ebay. A much better deal than buying a rebuild kit from dmr

I got tired of mt5 levers leaking seemed to happen during any long alpine descents. I now have deore levers on the mt5 caliper working well so far but not tested on any alpine riding yet

When I bleed my mt5’s it took about 10-15 minutes of cycling the oil from the caliper up to the lever before any air bubbles emerged, then all of a sudden a load appeared and the lever feel was much better.

I had a set of trs plus wheels had no issues with the hub but I have snapped countless spokes in the rear wheel and constantly needed retruing and tentioning. Given up in the end and got new wheels

Impressed with mine, definitely enough light as a backup and battery life seems pretty respectable too.

Yeah my mt5 took alot of bleeding to get the air out pumping from syringe to syringe about 15 – 20 times before the air bubbles showed them selfs. Now feels better than new

I bought one, pretty happy with it to be honest it is hotter than my bell super but not by much and the fit is perfect. I haven’t found it hot enough to cause any issues

I have a set, I find them really comfy and easy to pedal with. Had a few little offs and they have stayed in place and protected my knees nicely.
