Try n stretch the budget and go post 2000 tdi as this is a better engine.
The 110 version with a box of eBay gives better everyday performance than the 130, IMO.
The naughty step is a great invention but one day my (then 3yr old) eldest refused to go on it.
What are the options do I physically restrain him on the step, let him get away with the misdemeanor or threaten him with a smack.
I said he had a choice the step or a smack, he chose the smack.
So now do I hit him or let him off?
richpips
What size dry bags are they?
Does the front move about much wi just one strap on it?
What’s in them?
And re the rear one how do you manage to keep it up for so long? 😉
Part of the reason I cycle is to improve my fitness, so I see extra weight as resistance training.
Also I could loose a lot more pounds then any Surly frameset.
My reception is okay through the main ariel/booster set up but I would like to run another TV without running a cable through the house so wondered if there is a WiFi/dongle type set up available?
The alternative would be no access and people, god forbid, having to use maps and go into the hills and look after themselves and face the wrath of ramblers and maybe get lost and maybe be responsible for themselves and…..and….and…….NOOOOOOO!!!!!
I’ve got an Alhambra but even with front wheels out the bikes protrude into the second row and if we ever had a ‘bump’ the rear seat passenger could have to climb over the bikes to get to a working door.
iamroughrider it’s not about the cost, my last jacket sat in the wardrobe for years untill I gave it to my brother.
The problem is that I find them too warm when back home for anything active, even walking the dog.
But really I was riding an old Pug road bike lost a jockey so SS’ed it to get home, good old Cool Tool. didn’t fix it for a few weeks found I was quicker on, most of, my regular routes. Liked the ‘just riding’ so the rigid ’92 Kona got the SS treatment ad well.
Go to A&E and sit, with the drunks and other people who should be seeing their GP’s, for about 6 hours.
Doubt they’ll do owt different but you might get an X’ray, enjoy!
Had similar prob, so changed to HS33’s.
Definitely an improvement but prone to clogging in the mud.
When my forks needed replacing went disc on the front and put the V back on the rear which I feel is a better year round set up.
Have you tried stickier brake blocks – cool stop or similar?
I’m using 2″ Big Apples, on a 26″ wheeled tourer and rolling downhill I keep up with my mate on his Boardman hybrid (a lot lighter bike) shod with 700 x 28’s.
Mk2 complete.
Started drilling 1mm holes but, D’oh!, the bit snapped.
So the holes are 1.5 mm.
Just boiled approx 300ml, mug full, of water in 4 mins. 🙂 🙂 🙂
If we don’t cycle into dangerous positions we go along way to being safeR .
Your still at risk of SMIDSY and the idiot driving around midlands in a Silver BMW pushing people off bikes!
But these cyclists are still someone’s loved one and most of us have got away doing the same thing.
I think brakes was right when he said idiotS there is no point cutting up the inside of lorries just because you have the right.
You don’t want to be dead right!
