I use Berghaus Windstopper gloves not cycling specific but I find them excellent.

Haven’t a clue I’ve not had the tyres off!
As TCS stands for Tubeless Compatible System I wouldn’t need tape!?

    If I knew what I wanted I wouldn’t ask.

I’ve only ridden hardtails/rigids in steel and 26″ wheels.

I’m a short ar5e and not sure about 29″ wheels but I’m not getting any younger (approaching 50) and perhaps looking for a less jarring ride. But FS is a lot further from my comfort zone than a hardtail on 27.5″ wheels.
And the hardtail is lighter and has nicer kit.

I wouldn’t mind 3rd (ish) refusal in the Whyte frame if it’s the right size.

Anyone in south Leicestershire/north Warwickshire area got a 51 or 54cm Tripstet that they would be kind enough to let me try for size?
    Pretty please.

Love the bike and perhaps I’m being far too fussy but the way the seat/chain stays join the dropouts and looks like something from my old metalwork class really annoys me.
But is it a deal breaker?

So we are aware of their ability and they know they can say enough is enough and we will listen.

Chuck a set of V brakes on it and bigger tyres, my ’92 Hahanna has Continental Vert 2.3 front and a 2.1 xc pro in the back. Single speed courtesy of an On-One Doofer. Use and like it far more than I should! 🙂

I had very similar thoughts this morning while out on my bike, unfortunately I’m 2, 1/2 yrs shy of 50, and went with a road based bike.
But tourer/everyday work horse or a less used audax’esque beauty.
Nope I couldn’t decide either, and that’s before brakes/drive train etc.

Sad though that my first, cycling, love MTB’s got ignored purely because there isn’t a standard wheel size that I can believe willl be available for the next 30yrs.

The consensus seems to be tyres are more important, yet people are stating what frames they’ve got and there’s no mention of tyres.
What type, size and pressures are people using?

In the sumner you can’t beat the Camping & Caravan Club site for location but at this time of year the location means you’d probably need a snorkel.
