Suitcase full of courage?

I’ve got crest 29’er rims, with ghetto tubeless With a SB8 on the rear and Slant on the front. Both 35mm, pumped to about 40-50psi, and I’m about 12st. Mixture of riding, but mainly gravel with some Flint (New Forest) and pretty happy with it so far. Tried with other tyres (conti folding and rigid) and didn’t get on too well, any more psi and spaff everywhere :cry:

CG, whilst I don’t disagree with you, and Will continue to ride all types of paths and trails in any case, my simplistic approach of “in it, to win it” might just prevail – a tad optimistic, even for a Sunday morning!

Do you think AL might suffer from “short man syndrome” – he looked positively dwarf like walking back up the hill next to all the other competitors?

I was out in the Forest today, and the number of families / leisure cyclists around (off road) were numerous, and this tourism brings much needed ££’s to local towns like Lyndhurst / Brokenhurst / Burley that would be totally dead if it weren’t for tourism. In this day and age, it’s hard to see how the Verderers have any legal status or standing.

You need to know where to look…. All cheeky stuff and plenty of threads here – Strava has plenty of info

+1, just get my head down and ride on…..I’m not sure there is anything anyone can do (even though I have been photographed and threatened by the Verderers) – not like I have a licence plate or anything!

Night time Segway tour – only me, the Mrs and a guide who spoke excellent English and showed us sights / places / routes well off the main drag. Learnt so much about Rome and Nader the holiday
