Plenty of mountains and then hills as you head South, which would give plenty of ride up / ride down stuff. Nothing that I can think of that is chair assisted. Would going into Italy be better if you want to go further, plenty in the Italian Alps for riding, chair assisted and otherwise.

Had one on a carbon Epic, and it was nothing but trouble. It was a Specialized branded one, made of swiss cheese and a big drain on my bike budget….it was the main reason i got rid.

@Kryton57, that’s exactly the same for me……minus the Zwift workout….grim.

I’m racing, and will be in the groupetto also…..but having fun. Echo all the above, and don’t go too fast from the gun however tempting it is.

I’m assuming its a job that requires occassional presentations, rather than your job to present all day, everyday ie a trainer? Assuming this, asking the question and handing the flipchart / responses to your audience as some sort of group exercise can also be very powerful.

Thanks for replies so far, open street map gives me some detail and GPS traces, but I can’t create a new GPX route/

    @Bez
, I don’t mind paying some ££’s to get a decent map but couldn’t see on the Website how to do this, mind you my french isn’t the best. Is the App better?

4 laps for me, in the 3hr grand get category – if I had gone a shade quicker on the 4 then could have possibly squeezed a 5th – doubtful really as I was stuffed. Over dressed in a softshell jacket, so next time will wear less. As others have said, great course, atmosphere, organisation and general friendly vibe – bring on rd3.

I’m 5’11” and gave a large. Saddle height from bb is 47cms, and whilst it is a longish, slack bike it’s also a good fit for me.

Me to, if organising something. Happy to do a bit of route planning also if that helps – ridden bits of the list above, but not all and not as an epic loop.

I can’t get Alexa to play Spotify on grouped speakers via Sonos and it’s driving me insane. If Sonos is playing, it makes no difference…..

Plenty of organised trips / holidays that would be with groups, often ability based.

Let’s get this right, you are on the sofa, your Mrs is on the sofa and she’s asking if you’d like a present…..and you are on this forum.

Shouldn’t you be somewhere else, fulfilling the present options….

I assume the auto-connect from Garmin to upload to Strava would default to last used?  Is it easy to edit an activity in Strava once complete?

Good tip on the laptop, I’ve been accessing via apps,, which may account for some of me going round the houses with it all

Wiping your manhood on the curtains after a “it” wasn’t appreciated.  Relationship advisor suggested taking things to a “new high” in the bedroom at the last session – apparently this was not what they meant.

Where do you normally ride?  The trail, surface is generally “gnarlier” with quite a lot of rocks, so quite fatiguing.

It’s long – 30k, ish.  Some long fireroad sections going up, which are more towards the end, leaving you tired for the final sections.

It’s rocky, but more to do with the surface rather than rideability.

If it’s a Gore jacket, they will do the repair for you – had an old jacket repaired a while back, with new zip. Good price and speedy service.

Thanks for the replies – I’m hoping the GPS will be part of the watch, rather than using the phone. I’m aware the fenix does, what about the other Garmin’s?

If it’s Crawley nd Winchester, and you stay love, to Southampton bike park  Lordswood just behind and there is a fair few trails there – you may need a love, to show you but you can’t go far wrong if you don’t cross a road and stay inside the woods.

If it’s Crawley, Sussex then ^^ am, applies

Don’t you just clean round the flange ad re-use assuming you have been inserting it in the right place?  If you have used it in an alternative way, it may need more specialist cleaning.  IMHO it’s better to clean where you are putting it before insertion.
