Someone has taken your video and put some hideous music as the soundtrack which needs fixing, riding looks fine though.

    Thanks for the replies –
It’s not a good pasta/pic in my OP, it is in separate columns, and there is no space on the left hand side of each column either…..

    Still stuck….

Amazing runs by Rachel, Danny Hart and Steve Smith. Hats off to Peaty too, excellent riding.

Where was Gwin. He has definitely been off the pace this series but a complete no show today.

He’s injured his shoulder and off the bike

Wobbliscott – take a look at the Mudhugger, reckon I’ll try one next time round. I’m on a hardtail, so no such issues here, though I’ve trimmed a bit off the front end of the rear crudguard so that it mounts around the seat tube rather than on the seat post to allow the post to be dropped.

Have just bought a set, fitted them to my winter HT, and yet to try the in anger. 1st impressions are a very robust bit of kit.

Have a look at Scott Volatage, good bike and plenty to upgrade as/when you can.

Bike from YT Industries and canyon look v good value.

Commencal have an outlet / ex-demo online store – bought a Supreme Mini DH, with 180 coil and 180 bombers as good as new for less than £1k about 9 months ago.

I put mine on my top tube, you can take the screws out of the mount and turn it 90deg, and then screw it up so that the Satmap sits in line with the TT – if I get the chance I’ll photo it and post…

Black pudding before a ride! I’d suggest something a bit more carby, like a banana, toast, light roll (barm) with limited filling ie no mayo, butter, anything fatty.

I’ll need to see the Canyon detailed warranty info before I can comment, then I’ll need to trawl the Interweb for Canyon bashing, non warranty paying posts, then maybe I’ll speak to the really helpful CS team they have in Kingston.

On a serious note, as much as you can with as little as possible sticking out.

I find it harder to pass / over take or catch up riders on flat, or downward facing singletrack.

Uphill, some climbs and fireroads I find it easier to rest up my HR a bit, take some water / food on board, and get ready for the next bit.

Short course racing for me is flat out all the way – if you are finding it hard, suggest intervals (in training) are the way to go – but it’s not as simple as me simply saying that.

For the future, either do more races or try out a training plan / coach for this coming season?

    Description includes

Condition: New other (see details) :
Seller Notes: “The box has been opened to check for item damage. The box is damaged. The item itself is in perfect condition.”

Go via lake genera (motorway right along the top, with a service station and viewing platform at highest point) . Then over the Simplon pass into Italy, between the lakes. An amazing view, feat of engineering and did I mention the view?

My experience is that most lifts close the 1st week Sept – Switzerland has trains that take bikes so might be better off looking there? Or going down the catered chalet route and doing vehicle uplifts?

Have you tried Metabief – small, but worth a day or so? Or the bike park at Lac Blanc, just down the road a bit.

The other possibility are the 2 bike parks just inside Germany (Willingen and Winterburg from memory).

    Car (diesel)
Drive, avoiding motorways in France, possible go through Luxembourg as motorway is free
Bikes inside or on top depending on how many going
Camp and self cater or wild camp and use local swimming pools (often included in lift pass)
    Taked packed lunches
1/2 day lift passes in some resorts work out much cheaper than full day, and lifts close later, so with a bit of planning and focus you can ride for 5 hours a day for half the cost
    .
    Reckon you could save loads

Italy better than Franch IMO for kids – less strict and “let ’em die” – look at Bardonecchia, great resort, plenty of gentle skiing, nice town, short transfer.

Can be handy, depends how you work really? As much as you can see of others, they can see of you, so as above a bit like FB. You can deselect people to show in your profile, and to some extent limit your visibility. You have to ask yourself, why is this guy pestering me as its likely he wants something else from the connection, perhaps telling others that he’s connected to you which may carry some influence?
