Couldn’t you just whack a rice crispy in the end of your condom every time you (or partner) fancies a bit of something different? You could get all the gain and none of the ummm.. pain?

Yep, with my Corfe Castle comment I meant from there to Swanage and back over Nine Barrows – is there anything else?

I’ve bought cheap tyres, expensive tyres, middle of the range tyres and I’ve had problems on all sorts.

Landed a jump a bit wrong on a RQ with Black Chili compound, deformed the sidewall and tyre wouldn’t seat properly – 3 rides in.

Cut a sidewall on a Captain S-Works, didn’t seal after, and was about a month old.

Fitted a new Minion DHR in the Alps this summer, and split the sidewall (beyond repair) on a rock after a couple of rides.

Whilst it’s frustrating (and expensive) I see it as part of riding particularly over challenging terrain.

Tend to steer clear of the “mega expensive latest trend, must have tyres” these days, look out for bargains, and always have spares in the garage.

Price is from 23p to 29p each – having had a quick scan. Compared to Nespresso ones that’s not a massive saving, around £6 on 200 capsules. Having tried other capsules for Nespresso machines, they never quite perform that well (Fine Coffee Co.), don’t fit (casino ones) or don’t taste as good.

I’d be interested in what other’s experience of these are btw.

That last slot in Midweeks should be thought of as the “and finally” slot on regional news.

We don’t condone what goes there, that’s why prancercise, bubble wrap bikes and fatbikes have featured previously

So….if a video was posted a commercial forum of say a car driver jumping red lights, driving up a one way street, harassing pedestrians, forcing their way through gaps in traffic; would that be acceptable?

My view is that the riding is irresponsible of course, the debate though (and thread) is about if posting this publicly on a commercially sponsored website condones the sort of behaviour in question.

SDW is pretty much on the doorstep if you don’t mind a bit of navigation? Get in quick before the weather changes, as it gets interesting in parts once it gets wet.
