2 Frozen chicken fillets strapped under the moobs, keeps you cool during the day and defrosted ready for cooking when you get home

My moobs are so awesome the chicken fillets would be cooked BY the time I get home

Whilst heading up to Scotland last year, we wild camped next to a lock, nice location tucked away from the adjacent road. What would’ve been a good nights sleep was slightly disturbed by my girlfriend at the time (now ex, but not connected to this!) screaming out ‘WHOS THERE!!!!!’ in the middle of the night , I struggled to get back to sleep after that!

Perhaps “knocking and waiting” rather than “knocking and entering” would be the way to go, give her a chance to wake up and that….

Agree with the OP – my kids at the time didn’t – same with films, music, videos etc. Interestingly they quote it now to younger family members now, so something good has worn off!

There is such a thing as “media training” that one could go on to help come across better – given the professional athlete status and the sponsorship / earnings potential involved I don’t buy the whole “you do better” or “he’s a DH racer” – it’s part of his job to deal with the media well or find someone who can on his behalf and not make him look a dull as ditch-water on a video.

    Link to joke Monkey Joke

It’s unfortunate I think as some seem to have taken the “monkey” element out of context (ie racist) as it’s a joke about motivation, feeding off others, letting others do the work which was the point that Hodgson was trying to make – thats my take any way and I don’t even like football.

It’s owed to the “man” – Economics only works when you restrict the supply of cash, hence things go up and down in price (not value) based on supply and demand. If you don’t cap debt, Govt’s simply make more money but this goes to devalue everything – then you get massive inflation for everything to try and keep up. Ask the Argentinian’s – they know all about it…

Lived and worked in Bristol, 30+ years ago and traffic was equally congested. Hanham to Central Bristol, was easily an hour each way by the time I’d parked and got to the office. Every town (in the South) sufferers with some form of congestion, slow traffic, too many vehicles and poor infrastructure. I’d say a commute of 45 min is typical, wherever you live and if there are other benefits to living where you do (lifestyle) then stay put and in the nicest way suck it up.

Interesting, I guess more people who enter the market will mean that more people enter the market, so hopefully a supplier will be along soon to challenge the Nespress pods, price and quality……time will tell?

Or a tale of a mail order bride…….

Back on topic, I’ve bought and fitted these Mud Huggers[/url] and they are big, bulky, solid, look grim and much cheaper than new bike bits, new kit, new washing machine and a new wife 😮

From memory, it’s 2 clicks higher from middle on rebound as I like it springy and not hitting big stuff. 120 psi, for every day, take out 20 psi for Alps type stuff and run it with 50% sag. Forks wise 140mm pikes for uk, and 160 van RC coils for bigger stuff.
    .
Awesome bike, think it’s amazing even after 3 years of general abuse
    .
    Edit – 72kgs, without kit

What no mention for the Prince Albert thread. Just reading that made me curl up in pain.

Reading the above I count myself lucky although a kick in the balls is never exactly comfortable and having been with my wife through two labours I know who is tougher.

You could ask your new NZ mates, seeing as you are leaving these shores and I’m in no way jealous!

I have a cousin over there, and she uses local NZ shipping co / Courier to send stuff to UK (big boxes, various items) and then it comes to us from who ever courier there is a local link with. Basically, whichever courier you choose they simply outsource to a local provider unless you use on the international firms ie DHL / UPS etc. Get some quotes would be my advice as they change regularly, and also make sure you weigh and measure the parcel accurately as this is checked.
