    so

    22/25 = 0.88

    or

    32/36 = 0.88

Ignoring the wheel size. Therefore no change in gears?

Thanks, I thought there might have been an outbox folder? Although both lists don’t have one and there’s not one on my online gmail. Can anyone confirm that there is no outbox folder?

I enjoyed the vid and couldn’t give a monkeys about the amount of travel used. I do however think its another bike that is getting a lot of attention however rides similar to all other lt hardtails.

I meant that giffgaff doesn’t allow tethering, however I’ve rarely needed to do this.

unlimited internet is good, no tethering by the looks but not a deal breaker

I thought it was because thinner pedals are less lightly to roll under your foot than fatter ones, but I was once told I was wrong.

+ 1 – this is what I believe although other have differing views

Don’t go for V12 mag’s as recommended above, too thick and small platform.

looks like talkmobile and giffgaff are the most likely, anyone had any problems with either??

I would prefer marzocchi range as always had good experience with them.

I’ve always found Easton bars good, they do the EA50/70 range up to 685mm, if you want longer they do the Haven/Havoc.

What sort of width and use?

EDIT – you edited your post!

Why go 1×9 if you don’t have chainloss problems. Is it weight saving? In which case, weight will probably drive what you chose. Are you also planning on changing the chainring for a single ring type?

I think it looks better and don’t want to keep faffing with mech’s, shifters, cables etc if unnecessary.

I do ride quite hard but never ever had a problem with just a front mech while riding?

I’ve got an 11t ring at home so that’s an idea I wouldn’t have considered.

I may have got it wrong, more worried about the lowest gear tbh.

    Has anyone used these:

    with an inner ring plate:

    Thanks

I’m in a similar position, I have a shortlist of:

Cotic BFE – seems a good all rounder with suitable head angle.
Dialled PA – head angle OK?
Dialled Alpine – too gravity orientated?
Chumba HX1 – not heard much about chumba?
On One 456/SS – out of stock.

Just cant make me mind up!

“Small British racing green Curtis freeride just arrived.

Change of heart here I think.

Anybody want it before I send it back to CRC?”

    How much??!!

So its a similar weight to a PA or BFE? I like the PA but need something a little slacker but not as heavy as the Alpine.

i’m sure every frame suggested can be ridden all day, but can deal with the ‘sketchy bits’ a lot better than your suggestion of an xtc. i have owned an xtc, whilst being nice on flat stuff was very harsh and not much fun on steep stuff. i think your general attitude to other people on this forum is wrong.

Oh good spot, tempted now for a curtis freeride, was considering PA and BFE etc. Anyone know how they ride?
