OK, this is probably the usage it will get:

Ragging in woods on singletrack, drops and jumps (2 – 3 hr blasts) – Once a week
DH Days (Inners/Alps) – 2 – 3 weekends a year
Trail centres – 5 weekend trips a year
30 mile XC trips – 1 – 2 times a month?!
Urban blasts (2hrs) – Once a week
Dual/4x – Once a month
Family riding on tow paths etc – Handful of times in the summer

Any difference in slackness of h/a?

That’s what I thought. If I’m not sure I won’t buy! Worth asking the question as haven’t seen one in the flesh.

How would a blender compare to a Bfe, Alpine, PA etc.

The one I have seen is on eBay.

Pieface – I had heard that they finish the 456 with liquid paint and the PA with powdercoat so the PA should be more durable?

sam69 – I think a blue pig is not too dissimilar to the new 456 evo so is similar to what I asked! Hopefully someone more in the know answers!

How does the on one 456 relate to the PA?

Must admit the PA looks to be more suited to everything whereas the Alpine looks more decent happy and there not may steep, fast or technical ones where I live which is where most of the riding will be done. I have ridden a friends 853PA which seemed suitable and strong enough.

The bike will be run with adjustable coil forks, 95 – 140mm.

Its so close between the two, it really has to do everything, be able to descend well but not be horrible on the XC day trips.

Pity, i would of needed the small 16″.

With regards to alps riding it would be things like the port du soleil, pleney run, chatel etc etc

Can get hold of the properties, what would show as it being shot in a macro mode but with some zoom at a distance of 2m?

iTunes converted the files, all was fine until I moved them alongside the rest of my music collection.

how do you find this out?

I cant see why this should be a problem, it is organised the same now as the rest of the files. The idea is to keep it all together in one file. I have deleted the music from itunes and dragged it back in again with no success.

OK time for an update, downloaded iTunes earlier in the week, converted all WMA files to MP3 which showed up OK in iTunes. Last night decided to delete the WMA files in the music folder and move the new MP3 files from the iTunes Media files to the same folders as all my other music files are stored, C:/Users/My Music. Now most of the albums are shown as ‘unknown album’ with all the tracks from different albums listed under each artist rather than split into their individual albums? I have tried amending the files in the C:/Users/My Music file from ‘unknown album’ to the album name but this hasn’t worked. Currently iTunes is reading music from the iTunes Media file and the check box for keeping the iTunes Media folder organised is unticked. How do I resolve this problem, never had this with Windows Media Player which seemed to be a doddle in comparison.

When I downloaded iTunes previously it found the mp3 but not the WMA, don’t know how to do it but at least it seems you can.

Alps would be one week a year. DH days perhaps 2/3 times a year? Would an alpine be restrictive to my general riding though?

Any other views before I buy!!
