Stuey – See ‘bill account’ with no overdraft and ‘current account’ with overdraft which I pay for.

Of course they are, which is why you don’t pay for your basic banking services, unlike in many other countries. If you paid an account fee, and I’m sure they have several “added value accounts” then you would have an overdraft facility and wouldn’t have gotten charged.

OK, some interesting and very helpful advice. I know the error was mine, although HSBC have made it somewhat more difficult to access account due to the requirement of the electronic pin card. Although I guess that is for security purposes so not a bad thing. I just feel the charge is unfair and will write a letter stating some of what has been said above.

It was a day, a payment came out of my account the day before my money transferred from my current account to the bill account. Therefore I had nearly £1.5k in my current account. Ive had this before and they weren’t prepared to listen. They charge me £25/year on the current to continually reassess (as mentioned above) which annoys the hell out of me.

Normal evening meal I guess, no desert.

Ive looked at my portions and my daily intake is very little.

Typical day is:

Breakfast – Belvita
Mid morning snack – Nakd bar
Dinner – Oat cakes with soft cheese spread or peanut butter (if im in the office)
Tea – Anything(but I guess portion size could be reduced)

Ive highlighted that I could easily cut out the chocolate I have in the evenings at weekends and already cut from two sugars down to one in tea, none in coffee which I probably drink more of.

Saints are 8.5mm thinner than the mx30, which is a big advantage, not sure on actual thickness though.

The plastic Nukeproof Electron pedals would have been ideal, however they dont appear to have enough pins so I believe are less grippy than the Proton and Neutron (Nano) models.

For general trail riding (XC, trail centres, training rides etc) I love SPD’s, this is 80% of my riding. However dont know whether to get a spare set of flats for the other 20% or stick with the SPD’s.

Thats what I thought, its main usage will be trail riding but needs to withstand a 4x track sesh and possibly the odd DH day.

Unless I bought a holeshot with a long post, would that make a good all round trail bike, i’m fairly short??

Sounds like the Bfe is a bit stronger but assume the PA can handle the odd day of DH and can comfortably handle drops etc?
