KFC family bucket…..pah, easily polished off on my own whilst studying.

Yes. Had one years ago with the same issue. Appears they have not resolved the problem.  Got fed up with it so moved it on and replaced it with CWC, far superior in my opinion.

Mach 3 razor blades. Was enough to send me down the DE route.

Vivaro crew cab worth considering. New versions have ironed out previous customer woes. Built in GB too. Wish they made a 4×4 version.

I’m considering one too. Do you need to get dressed up like a Power Ranger though or does stout boots and waterproof clothing suffice?

Done the event. The event uses some of the trails so I would assume some bits to be closed. If you want to ride afterwards then it may be better to enter as a single, your mate can do the same but just not do the ride? Overall the event is not overly taxing, just good fun.

Google ‘Lakeland Monster Miles’ It is an event but route is downloadable, sounds like what you describe.

There is the campsite in Glencoe itself.

Keep on trucking, it is only a 2 hour drive from Glasgow and 35 minutes on a bad day from the Red Squirrel. I wouldn’t even consider stopping.

What about essential minerals?  Salt potassium etc? Could try a dioralyte mid ride before the onset.

Picolax sent out to you . Turn up. Get it done and get out. Cut all the bull out. Arrange to be ‘no prep required’ and you are willing to be first done. It’s tough, you’ll feel like you’ve done 18 hours at the ‘Puffer for comparison. Sedative not required. Straight off to work. No issues. Alternative are no sedative and be stuck in the ‘virtual que’ or sedative and rely on people to get you home .

Ah, Gaddings Reservoir near Todmorden. That explains it, no way there was sunshine in Galloway on Saturday. Miss summer already.

Bought  PHD years ago. It has been through some very wet  cold and inclement weather. Survived conditions that aren’t best suited to down without fault and all the time keeping me toasty. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Nice and sunny afternoon in Galloway? Where? I’ve been Rhins of Kell walking then to Newton Stewart via Clatteringshaws and the rain never halted!

For perspective what do you class as a small tree?  I prefer a larger saw. Many reasons but mainly I feel safer with it. It never struggles so unlikely to put it under pressure resulting in an accident and you always need to show it serious respect, I think little saws you can become complacent with and unfortunately still give yourself a nasty injury. Husqvarna 372XPG. I love cutting wood though.

I thought about doing the same as circumstances sound similar. Long story short I went with a Landcruiser Amazon, oddly I wanted a Disco 4 but was put off with the reliability issues. The Landcruiser ticked more boxes than a van.

Amazing kit . Very good VFM. Heavy and can stand up to lots of abuse. British made too. Work well in wet/damp/dirty conditions without too much loss of insulation. Very warm as realistically season rated.

Google Jamie Oliver chilli brisket. He has a few. I’m not a JO fan generally but he has nailed the beef chili in my opinion.

Try a Parker Variant. Try the various settings until you find the aggressiveness best suited to you. Choose a handful of blades to try also. I would recommend phoning Brian at Executive Shaving. A really helpful chap and a bigger selection of shaving paraphernalia you won’t find anywhere else.

With your budget you will not get anything decent regards Shogun or Landcruiser. Everything will be 12+ years and over 100k on miles . To suit your budget and requirements you should look at Isuzu Trooper/Daihatsu Fourtrak/Nissan Patrol. Decent examples of these work horses can be found in your price range.

Had TRP Spykes. Happiy used in Alps. No issues with year round grimey riding. Don’t go near hydraulics now. Mechanicals are an absolute doddle to service at home.

Oddly enough our symptoms began after Asda fuel. The advice I received was from a mini forum where other people were experiencing the same. Must be something in it. I’d get it down to half a tank and brim it with BP and only use decent quality fuel from there. Should be trouble free then .

Supermarket diesel? Ours had exact symptoms.  Put a tank of the expensive BP stuff through it and then ran it on the normal BP stuff since. Never had an issue again. The way I understand it is the supermarket stuff is European spec which is lower than the BP/Shell UK spec. The lower quality of the supermarket stuff some engines don’t like. I don’t know if any of that is true or not but running on BP/Shell never had an issue since. Worth giving a shot before paying for diagnostics.

I don’t mind the Rosemary. I was just wondering if there was something that was particularly better. I wouldn’t mind replacing them with the same. I have a lot of cracked ones that leak. I’m assuming in the past someone has tried to clean the moss from them and caused damage.

I know I’m not in a conservation area so I’m hoping anything goes. Is traditional slate a good choice?

Yes Rosemary tiles I believe. They are just straight onto the wood below. No felt etc. It is an old house. Hadn’t considered facias.

    Was in Yeovil last year.

Michael Tarrant, 81, of Thornwell Way, Wincanton, admitted dangerous driving at Taunton Crown Court. on Monday (July 9).

He denied a more serious charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, which was dropped.

    Looks horrific.

14 miles is a good off road effort. This weather is making running so much more of a pleasure rather than a must do.
