sorry to hear that, happened to me back in march. Had a short temp job since then.

take a couple of days to re adjust, but get straight on to the dole and get that moving along, as they only start it from when you contact them.

does anyone know any responsible drinkers who regularly buy 3litres of cider for £2.99?

I've been buying Lidl's and Aldi's 2litre dry cider for £1.50. as its nice, and easier to take camping the 2litre bottle than it is several bottles of beer.
still that bottle will last use a couple of days.

as to Scotland 'leading the way' several councils in England are proposing the same.
Greater Manchester is considering it, as is Rossendale, was i was down near Buxton on Trent a few weeks ago, their local paper also had the headline that the council there was considering the same.

Still no one has come up with a way of getting it past the EU anti price fixing rules…

Well they didn't actually stop making albums, but Iron Maiden's output after 1988's "Seventh Son" was total carp until Dickinson's return for "Brave New World" in 2000, although I really think they got rolling again with 2003's "Dance of Death".

there was a little peak of BNW and DoD, but I listen to The X Factor far more than any of the last 4 albums.
    very underrated album.

Ofcom have a rule against adverts being louder, but they use some pretty weak language about 'subjective loudness' being in line with the program.

I always think thats why the program 'card' that is at the start and end of the ad break is much louder than the rest of the program, as they can then put out the ads at the higher volume – while saying it is the same as the program.

thought when brookside was on, it was the worst for it.
channel 4 claimed the loudness was just because there was always a dramtic moment of silence before they cut to adverts.

Good call on the Tarot, i was hoping that Bloodstock would book them for their first UK date at some point, folk have been calling for them for the last couple of years.

Have you hear Marcos work with Delain on their last couple of Albums? like
    Control the Storm

theres probably a tweek to enable the rotation on different programs that dont by default. Certainly there is a way of doing it on WinMobile, and the open source nature of Android means some one will have found a way.

    Have a look on XDA-developers

Just because they are confident of finding work quickly – doesnt mean its going to happen. and they may get a nasty suprise how tough it is ATM, with so many people going for each job.

you can start the jobseekers application on your first day out of work, by filling in the form online at direct gov site. then after the inital interview to sign the forms it is a trip to the jobcentre to sign on every couple of weeks.

have a look on http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/ for your car see how much they would be, then add about £50-70 for a garage to fit them.

TBH – changing disks and brake pads is a fairly easy thing to do.
tho getting the disk off can take a bit of diplomacy with a hammer (and a bolt in the little hole)

staied ina hotel recently in Lille (dull place) the rooms had two lots of double witha big gap in between effectively one double on the outside face and one on the inside face – had amazing sound proofness

    yip.

I remember a lecture i had about some flats an architect had done in Glasgow, on High Street, which is a very busy road. It was also a Mill conversion. So they had opening double glazed windows level with the outside of the wall, and a second set of opening windows level with the inside of the wall.
the sound reduction was quite remarkable i seem to remember – something like 40+Db between all windows shut and fully open.

Tho what they found was alot of the residents prefered to leave the inner ones open, and use the window sill as a seat during the day time.

because, why buy a new radio, that isnt an improvement over your currently working one.
Lets face it – the majority of folk have a station they listen too, and so the 'extra choice' is irrelevant.

HSE – don't be bloody ridiculous. HSE do a fantastic job. Investigations into accidents to reduce further accidents amongst otyher things

and many of the things attributed to being because of HSE are myths – coming from others who have misread situations – and try to back up their position by blaming it on the HSE

Ben Baroch from Lidl – rebranded stock from a speyside distillery that closed down a few years ago. rather nice. £15

I had a very pleasant morning a couple of weeks ago tasting Benromach whiskeys – reopened distillery, first whiskeys just been released. only a 10year old, of different varities – or the REALLY expensive 40/50/60 year olds from the previous ownership

one thing i remember being said about Shoemaker a few years ago by his race engineer was about how calm he was on the radio during a race, as if he was just sat watching the TV. were as other drivers could sound harried, and didnt have the extra capacity to be talking and driving.

I've noticed this a few times with Hamilton on the radio.
for example: watch the highlights from Turkey: http://www.formula1.com/video/

talking to the engineer after being told to save fuel – how calmly he is talking.

also funny is the spainish highlights – Hamilton is on the radio when his tyre blows.

    2) unfairly victimised by marshalls.

    no he hasnt.

Marshals have nothing to do with it.

the FIA Stewards on the other hand.

the Marshals are 'Judges of Fact' but as my info pack for the British GP states the Stewards may overrule to Judges of Fact.

Still the iPhone 4 trumps the HD2

not in my book it doesnt. 😛

And equally most other phones don't attract the premium when sold on. Original 3G (not the 3GS) iPhones still sell for around £200 second hand whereas the N95 only gets around £100…

and HTC HD2 are going easily £200-280 on ebay second hand.

Last week the gov't trumpeted the fact that they had identified 12 projects worth £2bn that they were cancelling, the notion being that they were 'wasteful'. Leaving aside the argument about whether they were wasteful or not (one was a new hospital in Hartlepool)

From what i've read – this news was welcomed in Hartlepool – as it was going to close the 2 local hospitals for a new one which was opposed by a significant number of local people on grounds that it was geographically in the wrong place for both communities, had no public transport links and would seriously affect A19 and A689 traffic.

The plan entails the destruction of 300 acres of agricultural land and was contrary to the published structure plan for Hartlepool.

It received over 350 local objections at the planning review.

the closure of University Hospital of Hartlepool has long been in dispute – Blair saying in 2004 there was no plans to close the hospital – only for the decision to be reversed in 2007

We use a Wynster Curlew 6
    here

has a large 4 man bedroom, then a second 2 man bedroom can be put up or left out for more living area. Sewn in ground sheet, with inner tent. 5 poles, but very good in all weathers. (this is our second Curlew – gets used most weekends at a motorsport race)

Also the Ario is lighter than the Therm-o-rest

for ours the most expensive thing was the Church (since my dads the sides man there, and my mum was in the choir it'd been rude not to go there)
Missus's dress was made to measure at a local design studio[/url] – cost £150, got my suit from there too.

recpetion was a garden party the missus' parents backgarden. we home brewed the wine and beer. the local wine and beer circle which her folks were members of provided the glasses and marquee/gazeebo.

Former resident of Bury, moved up to Rossendale – Bacup end, about 5 mins ride from Lee Quarry.

I used to work in Salford – from Bacup, its about 1/2hr to 1hr depending on traffic on the M60 in the morning.

When i was in Bury, it took longer from where i lived (to commute to Salford) because of the amount of traffic in Bury.

Bus links wise – there is the X43 that goes through Rawtenstall, then via the M66 to Prestwich, and gets to manchester and terminates at Piccadilly Gardens.

Houses wise – a simple 2 up, 2 in the middle, 2 down and a cellar back to back terrace is about £60,000 – 2 bed terraces are about £60-70k

yip both are bars that are similar to the FIA bar you get on Caterhams.
4 point rollbar thats bolted to the structural points of the car.
    TR Lane

    Hard Dog.

there are other styles from both.

while not as safe as a full 6 point cage that the race 5s have, it is more usable, since a 6 point cage would stop you having a roof

second Mike with hiring a Caterham with Book A Track.

or you can also hire one from Caterham themselves for track sessions(where you get 5x or 6x 20 min sessions of track time at a circuit over the day) as well as the slalom and drift days

If you go to Thruxton – you could also book a ride with Tiff Needell in a BMW M3

Of course the Ultimate track experiance is the Palmer Sport days (or half days)
no limits, fearless instructors and a great line up of cars to drive.
BMW M3, 911, Palmer Jaguar (2 seater prototype like a radical) Land Rover Defender, Caterham, Renault Clio Cup and Formula Palmer Audi single seater.
