Needed some lighter wheels for the cx bike so had a rummage around in the garage and came up with a pair of 24 hole dt hubs (rear one with the disc tabs busted off) and a pair of old Shimano 16 hole rims. A couple of hours with a hack saw, drill and taps and I’ve now got a 1200gram pair of disc wheels for the 3 peaks.

I like the new name better, crainium woods! I’ve been up there a fair amount recently and can’t say I’ve seen anything out of the ordinary. If anything there does seem to be less people around in the woods. Ride and be merry.

Looks a lot meaner than the mangey looking thing that comes through my garden most nights, the dog likes chasing it though.

Got 4 hybrid hens, all good layers. Don’t let them wander round the garden cause the will sh1t everywhere and for something so small they produce a load of the stuff. Good fun to watch them wandering around very entertaining.

I’ve come to the conclusion that a miss spent youth and a bmx is all you need.[

It is pretty much rollable, chin up squeeze your butt cheeks together and go. Oh it is quite soft if it does go horribly wrong.

LMNH jnr goes everywhere in a sling, we dont have a pushchair. We have a fabric sling about 2ft wide by 10ft long, loads of different holds and she loves it. :D

Thanks peoples, looking at the burley bee to attach to the back of the cross bike, nohands jnr has got good head control as she has only ever been carried in a sling. 5 months at the mo but looking at getting one to take away in Sept so I think that’ll all be fine. Helmet or not?
