Right, I have a bit of insider (well it’s all available if you look) regarding the joyous M5M6…..that part of the motorway is the busyest in all of Europe, it carries more traffic than M25 etc! Those of you that use that strech regularly will have noticed some works going on along the roadside, this is for the cameras etc that will enable the hard shoulder to be used as a running lane at peak times (a la M42). So technically the M6 will not be widened but there will be a usable extra lane within the next 8-12 months. :D

Yep, if you park in the pub car park in birdlip (kings head or something) then head towards out of the car park and turn right on the road then just as the road starts to go down turn left and go along the road for about 1/2 mile till you reach a couple of houses on your left, after the 2nd driveway there is a track on the right take that and enjoy……..

Leave cleeve well alone if it’s windy and head for cranham, just find a track and get lost in the woods 8O

Take A small hacksaw, remove the mech from the bike, clamp in vice and cut a groove across the top of the bolt (you will prob have to cut into the mech a bit as well) keep carefully cutting until you have a deep enough groove to get a small flat bladed screwdriver in there and then you can unscrew!
