How old/worn is the disc rotor? Ive found that can play havoc with shitmano brakes.

You dont want to mess with the drive side spacing at all. If you can trim the axle on the non drive side by 5mm and somehow reduce the cone/spacer by 5mm as well. The wheel will need a slight re dish as well.

Hose them off then stuff full of newspaper.

Daughter’s first pedal bike was a specialized hotrock, 12″ wheels aluminium frame. Fairly light too. She is very small too but got on with it really well. Santa brought her a earlyrider 16″ wheel bike which she loves.

In the middle of this at the moment. Child maintainance….it is calculated on the number of nights they spend with respective parent. If it’s nearly 60/40 £200 seems an awful lot. If it was 50/50 there is no maintenance to pay. I would strongly recommend getting the child arraingments agreeed in court. Like I said I am going through this at the moment I have a fair amount of info/experiences that I could share of you want…..email in profile. Just remember it DOES get better.

Kid yep! thanks for the advice, seems like it could be spanning 10 years so a massive reality check and a very deep hole to climb out of and re adjusting to what is normal too.

Fitting a new pair of very rare 1″ threadless white brothers forks, fitted crown race, all headset parts a few spacers marked and cut the steerer put the forks in……forgot to include the stem when I measured the steerer :oops: steerer 11/2 too short, non removable crown!

Why ruin it with jam in the first place??

I know a few of the trails around cranham and am more than happy to show you around of you want. Head for painswick beacon then follow the signs to cranham and enjoy, plenty of tracks signposted (white spray painted bike on the trees)

Great to ride with everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the climb up bear hill after I left you all. I think we could make this a regular monthly thing……..perhaps.

Mboy…..I have checked with my DS an so long as I walk down the hills and don’t go anywhere it’s muddy and I am certainly not aloud to enjoy myself, he said I should be fine.
