Got there in the end – enjoyed that. Reading 13a as Tubeless frame did have me scratching my head for a bit 🙂 Thank you

+1 Travelex online – better rates than ATM. Got €1.23 to the pound last week.

I had a similar problem. Sent to TF Tuned where they diagnosed a scratched internal tube that was causing air to pass between chambers – still cheaper than a new one. Post now works as good as new.

Pump track at MTB scale. Start ramps to access pump track and other features such as drops, berms, flat corners, etc. Typical trail obstacles; rocks, roots, off-camber turns, short technical climb Good drainage, all weather surface, clear slight lines, safe landing/run-out areas. Tie-in with local cycling infra-structure; LBS, guides/coaches, clubs and associations.

    If you’re serious …

Buy her a bike that fits and is at least as good as yours.

Get her some training – there are a few women trainers south of the border (Ally Campbell, Kate Potter, et al), not sure what options you have up north.

Best money I’ve spent in a long time.

Endura Windchill II Jacket – tried on loads, found Castelli too short in sleeves and body, this jacket is long. Used it for the past fews weeks with only a vest and short sleeve jersey underneath – warm, possibly too warm on sustained hard efforts on climbs. My budget was same as yours but was happy to pay less for a good fit.

Looks like that was two hours of my life I won’t get back. Now to put the Sunday roast in the microwave …

Well done to all that got in – have a great time on behalf of those that didn’t.

    I’d rather watch this …

Vidéo : Tour du Nurburgring sous les 10 minutes en Citroen AX 1.4D !

… after 7yrs of trying a chap drives his Citroen AX 1.4 diesel round the Nurburgring in under 10 mins.

So much better than watching some gigglingly old blokes driving around a supermarket.

    Radical idea…

Buy her a bike/frame better than yours – I speak from experience, you won’t regret it.

I recently upgraded my wife’s bike to a Soul – built to 23lb. Now we’re out every weekend 🙂

Just back from a week with AQR in the Pyrenees. Good atmosphere, great natural trails, lift options in season and without the resort feel of Morzine, et al. You wouldn’t go far wrong.

P7 ’03 only MTB for last nine years – still gets ridden hard.

Only frame, wheels and cranks still original tho’. Need somewhere special for the 10th anniversary ride.
