BunnyHop – I have the Classic Bogs and have found them to be pretty grippy in mud and snow. In fact I am going somewhere snowy and muddy this weekend and they were my first choice of shoes to take. The soles are grippy but they have different soles on different styles so if you are looking make sure you get the more “aggressive” sole. The handles are quite useful though 🙂

My Bogs have lasted well and were very warm even when standing miserably in wet muddy fields for hours on end commissairing cx races

I use the Rudy Project TRALYX SX – thoroughly recommend them for both road & offroad riding. In shaded area they just go light grey – you really dont notice them changing at all. Just put them on and forget about them. Plus the venting is pretty good.

Pick up the river Wey, go out to Wisley, over Ripley common to Bookham, skirt Cobham, over to Esher, Walton & pick up the Thames back to Weybridge

Yup – usually a bottle of Fino or Manzanilla in the fridge in our house. Sainsburys taset the difference fino is quite nice as is the Gitana. Majestic do a good range.
We tend not to use sherry glasses but serve it in a tumbler with ice. The size of the tumbler is up to you.

Personally I cannot understand the fascination with Jo Malone – always smells quick sickly.
Diptique, Narciso Rodriguez – my current perfume of choice is Les Classiques de L’OCCITANE Ambre or Kiehls Musk

Originally I wanted them to buy it of me but they offered me a price lower than I was prepared to accept at the time.
They advertised it at the current price which is acually more than I wanted for it and they have not been able to sell it.
I have a nasty feeling that he is going to try it on and ask for a ridiculous amount of money.

No they did not sell it for me and I cant remember agreeing a price for internet advertising but then it was 10months ago……the only thing I can remember agreeing on was they take 10% of the sale price if they sell it.

From Byfleet you can pick up the Wey either by Mercedes world (that route takes you through the statics homes, Meadowlands?) or you could pick up the Thames by the Minnow pub (Thames St / Walton Lane).
The towpath is pretty empty at 7am in the morning – it is getting busier now in the evenings both ways. Just dont ride at people…..

I am currently running with 40mm tyres on the RLT and there is clearance. They should take 45mm tyres.

Not really stayed in Lille – we head straight over to Roubaix.
La Piscine in Roubaix is good – not for a whole day though – couple of hours tops.
Last year we went to the Ring of Memory which is not very far away either.

If you are going to watch the race – head to Arenberg or Carrefour – the two 5star cobbled sections – or drive out to one of the early stages & work your way back.

Its for tennis elbow. I have had a month of acupuncture & ultrasound but then the Osteopath said to go for the injection. I have just been given some exercises for it so will leave it a bit longer.

Bit of a mixed bag in seismic processing. There are still a small amount of companies who are spending big money on new exploration and others are just pulling all their exploration plans.

Got them on my RLT9 and have been happy with them – the slight flare just gives me a bit more stability & confidence on the drops.

Can’t be too hard to find their address if you have a name and postcode.

Unfortunately it is a business postcode – the estate has 7 buildings with about 15 different companies – finding A. Jones in one of them may take a bit of time.
I may call the company again today – they may say keep it in which case I have had a number of offers to take the cider off my hands from the 20-somethings in my team.

Been using the Clement X’plor ush for quite a while – they are pretty good for road & off-road. Just gone slightly bigger and replaced them with the Clement X’plor mso.

I quite like the OMM packs – lightweight, have zip pockets and side pockets for stuff which are easy to get to.

    Mine is a XS.
Ride-wise – really nice, pretty nimble, not too twitchy, rolls nicely, climbs pretty well (unlike it’s rider) and generally quite a light responsive bike – you can ride for ages and not feel too beaten up.

When I was looking around I actually found it quite hard to get a decent 26er and after reading the article about the geometry of a 29er for short people decided to take the plunge and go for a 29er. I am 5ft 3″ (ish) and ride a Niner EMD. Took me a while to get used to the handling of a 29er but now I really enjoy riding it.

BTW the article is this one:

I seem to have a small head and find the Rudy Project Swifty glasses a good fit. I have the clear and racing red lenses. Being photchromic I find the clear lenses pretty good even in really sunny conditions – they do turn quite dark. It would seem that a number of people on here do not find the Rudy project glasses comfortable with a Kask helmet though – I’ve not had a problem. Better then my Oakleys IMO.

There are 4 starting pens – your number decides which box you will be in – generally
0 – 1000 = Enel box (front box with Cipo)
1001 – 4000 Selle Italia = all women and fast Italians
    4001 – 8000 Pinarello = all non-Italian men
    8001 – 12000 – everyone else

From what I recall (and dont quote me on this) but the cut off for the long route is about 11 or 11.30ish but after you climb the Campo Longo for the 2nd time it isn’t as easy as down the hill & up the Giau – there is another climb in between. Depending on what start box you are in it could take you about 1/2 hour to get over the start lines. Dont get distracted by the people playing the rather odd wooden musical instruments and the men wielding long whips !
