I don’t know any Cold War facts but….

The record, supposedly, for projectile vomiting is 27 feet.

    I get a free subscription if I report 20 posts a day

    One more down.

    You too?

I try to avoid the Polytick and tyre threads because they are rather heated. Like a Skoda rear window.

can i be the first to say that anyone with a tattoo is both a hooligan and a thug, probably served time in prison or is a sailor. these are medical facts. the only people who get tattoos are people who want to upset their parents and take drugs for a living.

    Thats me.
I even live in a council house with a big telly!

Go to a good tattoo store with some ideas and get them to design something specifically for you. If the artist is any good, it will be much better looking than a bit of flash, and they will put more into it.

    Think I’ll do that 🙂

is he that kid that took photos of him in the DH gear in his bedroom, the clothes swamped him? or the chap that set up his own team and was asking for a race engineer and a lift to shows, turned out to be autistic?

He was a Mod on the MBUK forum IIRC
I got banned several times by him for posting that picture.

He was a big inspiration to me (along with many others). Always liked the design but only recently plucked up the courage to have it done.

And it was either that or Mint Sauce and living in Wales people may get the wrong idea if I have a sheep tat.

Psygnosis liverpool did F1 and F1 98 for PS1 didn’t they? The first F1 game was brilliant. Spend ages chasing a car down to make a small mistake and have it all to do again.

Are you sure about that? Can i steal a blu-ray if i own the DVD?

No you can download a dvd copy.
Downloading no different from ripping the copy.
    Hence copy protection.

I still use DVD shrink and it works fine for me. You can also download the film if you own a copy anyway.

What exactly do you have against council housing? As that seems to be where you’re aiming this post again.

Stay away from the Citroen Xsara Picasso. Worst handling car I’ve ever tried. Cross channel ferries have less body roll and easier steering.

Ahh 1/18th thought it was 1/8th
1/18th is a little small. I started on 1/10th scale.
Long grass is probably gonna make it struggle. Only really the Nitro’s or trucks and truggies will manage the grass.

have a look at modelsports Pre-owned catagory

For a 9 year old Electric is probably the best way to go. Try some of the Tamiya ones too. Well built and robst. Not tried that one but it may be a little too big for him. Have a look for the Mad Bull or Fighter buggy from Tamiya

Yeah don’t think he was happy with me earlier this year when I left them in the lurch when I took a month off to have a broken leg…

I like the turn of phrase. Having a broken leg. Did it have a name?

I saw a website ages ago that does recycled bike parts. Can’t remember what it was called. I remember it had a white background and a blue bike that you could click on to find parts.
Anyone know what it was called?

Get a damp survey done. Shouldn’t be expensive compared to buying house then trying to sort out damp problems after.
Our house had major damp problems which we got sorted before buying it. Walls were stripped back to brick, ceilings replaced, air bricks installed, walls injected etc. House was a mess for about 2 months. But that was a council right to buy thing.
If you can’t afford to do the repairs move on and find another property.

Quit work and walk the earth

But then the lack of money and financial stability to support yourself and your family is probably a bigger stress than work 😉

Point 1 – help your parents shop around. (*and if your name is NOT on the policy you cannot get any info/query etc etc the policy…)

Get your mum to call when you are there and do DPA then pass the phone to you. You can then talk to them.

See how much to cancel and shop around and get the better deal. Will still save money.
To go to FSA (insurance ombudsman) you would need to follow companies complaints process.

Our 55 Fabia has been serviced every 12 months. In the 18 months (23k miles) we’ve had it we replaced

Brake lines and pistons on the rear drums
3 out of 4 wheel bearings
    Cylinder head
    Valve guides
Catalytic converter (had the contents smashed prior to buying it but we didn’t know till recent MOT)

We bought the car for £3695 and spent £2400 on it in 18 months. Worst car we have ever owned. Its going as soon as we can get rid. Been offered £1800 PX for it and we just need to find a car we like. So far toss up between a Saab 93 estate, a Nissan Almera Tino and a Vauxhaull Vectra Estate.

Wouldn’t say G’parent one upmanship. How many times could he see city play theoretically? And how many Olympics is he going to go to in his home country? I’d say Olympics still a bigger deal. Will be something he remembers for the rest of his life.

Plus Old Trafford is an amazing Stadium!! Dunno if you can get a tour before match?

Ask them if they have a folder with qualifications and stuff in. Spend an hour or so when there are kids there to see how they get on as well.
