I’ve just joined Nationwide after 2 years of being with Barclays. They were the worst bank I’ve ever been with. Adding charges to my account with out telling me. Would never put a direct debit through even when there was money in the account then charging me for the privilige. Hated going into branch because they’d jump on you as soon as you walk in trying to sell products (i’ll go to disney for that). Every phone call they tried to sell me something. Locked me out of my online banking when they decided you could ONLY log in with that stupid card reader crap. Then wouldn’t unlock it for me. Won’t transfer money over the phone as I don’t have a telephone banking passcode and never sent me a new one when requested. Only saving grace was the breakdown cover and gadget insurance. They didn’t pay out on that when my tablet got water damage. Worst bunch of sharks I’ve ever met.

I miss the STW deadline blend. That was nice.

Not had one of the newer frames but when my RC200 cracked Pace took a couple of months to actually agree to fix it. Got it back with a bloody big ugly weld down the underneath of the downtube from the headtube. They didn’t make an effort to make it look tidy.

My Daughter has a Minnie Mouse that goes everywhere with her. Our childminder has one nearly the same (the shoes are a slightly different shade of pink). When Daughters Minnie was dropped in a muddy puddle said childminder was going to wash her. Swapped Minnies round when daughter was asleep. She woke up and was really upset cos her Minnie had gone and she couldn’t find her. Must be the smell of the toys cos I couldn’t tell the difference without them side by side.

A work mate of mine after a Christmas party was very very very drunk (to the point where while I was dragging him home, cos I lived closest to work, I was asked by two coppers if I needed help) crashed out on my sofa. I went to get a drink. While I was in kitchen he wandered in still out of it and pissed all over my brand new Northwaves. I was tampin! He paid for some new ones when I told him the next day. Looked very sheepish too.
