Anyone remember the “commuting” version you could buy? Rigid forks and a big foam bumper in place of the shock, designed (apparently) as a comfortable commuter bike.
Madness.
The Mantra was actually designed to use a rigid fork. It’s supposed to pivot around the bearing to produce a comfortable ride without sapping the energy as the forks pogo up and down.
I’m at work today. Then tomorrow will watch F1 then hopefully off to pub to wet babies head and collect some suspension forks for OH’s bike. Then getting ready for Jnr to arrive Monday.
I was viciously attacked by a rabbit earlier this week.
I didn’t need a holy hand grenade I just use my blessed Continentals and ran the bugger over. The screach from the first tyre hitting was rather disturbing especially as I didn’t know what I hit at first.
To me it just looks like an inset bite. But it does seem to have developed very quickly for a normal bite.
Normally I get biten it swell up massively esp on my calves, then I pick the centre and it looks just like that. Normally take about 24 hours to look like that though.
Only noticed it on way home last night. So it could have been more than 24 hours.
I shall call them after work. The red area is quite hard and the size of a 10p. Not sure about a tick as not been off road this week so it has to be something off the road or on a train. Although there are people using train to get to Afan and places like that. Could a tick live on a train seat for a while?
Well here’s a picture. I don’t think it’s Aids. It wasn’t there when I left work but had appeared when I got home. I didn’t catch my leg on my pedal either.
Moley – imagine for a second, hora, naked apart from just his cowboy boots. Are you happy with that image? ARE YOU? I hope you’re proud of yourself now.
Mrs Logical has had money taken from her purse. Total of £60 altogether. She knows who it is as that person is the only other person who has been in at the same time. She won’t say anything though and I don’t know why.
I don’t really have any issues with most of my work colleagues but I do know this guy nick named Badger who drives a van very slow, especially on Sunday mornings en-route to MTBing…Does my head in!
Work colleagues are just there. That’s enough for me.
The incessant drivel that comes out of their mouths and the constant bitching just seals the deal.
And this button-down, Oxford-cloth psycho might just snap, and then stalk from office to office with an Armalite AR-10 carbine gas-powered semi-automatic weapon, pumping round after round into colleagues and co-workers. This might be someone you’ve known for years. Someone very, very close to you.
Our first was a failed Ventouse which resulted in 3rd degree tear and the loss of a lot of blood. Then 4 lots of reconsructive surgery. Second was fine apart from a suspected PE. This one so far has been fine 🙂 Fingers crossed 🙂
Found the video. The sound was crap. You can only just work out what the song was and that was only cos my mate was singing along at the top of his voice. The picture was terrible. Just a blue and purple hazy glow with the outline of a guy in the middle.
I recorded Rick Witter and the Dukes a while back playing Chasing Rainbows by Shed 7 on my phone. Never watched it since. Will dig it out and let you know what quality is like. Was on a Samsung G500 (yes it was that long ago)
