I got one last week…i honestly think it's be best designed object i've seen for a very long time. HTC really appear to be firing on all four cylinders at the moment. Even the manual is really well written. I am really impressed. Do they do a smaller version, cuz my wife (who's a total technophobe) is actually impressed.

My understanding (and experience) is there is a big overlap between all three types, so in reality, the individual is more important then the title.

Funny, I've reverted back to free and listening now, it works fine!(think it's lower quality (less bandwidth needed) when it's free)

Yeah, it's funny, I work away and the house I stay in midweek has a pretty slow internet connection, but Spotify works like a dream.

    c. £100-150 for a simple installtion, but be careful, some installers don't include the VAT when quoting and also try to charge crazy amounts for 'upgraded' aerials.

Packet loss was 0, although I just retried and the line quality was down to 'B'

Thanks for the link to the quality test, I get 'A' for line quality and 42/3ms for Ping/Jitter, which I think is OK. iPlayer streams video without a problem, but Spotify seams to have issues. It's a real shame, becuase I have got into loads of good music through Spotify, but I can't stand the dropouts.

Warming draws. A quarter of the parts of an oven, for double the cost.

Thanks for the info. I looked at vodafones pricing for iphone tethering, and if I understand correctly it would be quite expensive to do on a regular basis. I like the look of the HTC, the only thing that's putting me off is the cost of the 32gb memory card (£100(ish)). I might run it with the 4gb card for a couple of months till the cost of the 32gb cards drops.

Oh well, it looks like it's going to be an HTC for me :-(

Fooking hell, that sounds expensive! I use tethering every day, is it similar charges for the HTC phones too?

Yes, it probably is. What type of guitar is it?

If you like BA, fly BA. If you don't like BA, don't fly BA. If your firm tells you to fly BA and you don't like it, then complain, or leave, or accept that you're actually not that really bothered, but are probably short of something of real significance to moan about.

Where in my post did in imply it's a massive problem or moan about anything?? I'm stating a my opinion, in my experience, the highly paid BA cabin staff are not as good as competitors, and they your suggestion that "Firstly, if you didn't like it, why didn't you fly with someone else?" is probably not sensible option for most (business) flyers, because the quality of service of peanuts on the flight is not really a factor in choosing an airline for most companies.

But I'll take on board your suggestion…next time I get booked on a BA flight, i'll tell them to ram the job.

As a frequent user of BA, it seems to me that until a few years ago BA looked very much like a business that was run for the benefit of the staff rather than the customers.

Totally agree with this, I think Virgin cabin staff are so much better than BA it's not funny. The BA cabin staff look disinterested and fed up.

@rightplacerighttime, I have never had a choice in who I fly with (apart from holiday trips), do you think the adminstators at most companies give a shit if the staff are surley on BA flights?

Slight hijack, but what do you do when you are staying for the first time with a new GF and you don't want to make unattractive trumpeting noises the morning after?

Hold her head under the covers so the noise is the least of her worries?

You normally slap down on the E and A stings and pull up on the D & G strings, as the thinner strings don't have the mass for the thumb slap.

6 music was the only reason I bought a DAB radio. OK, it's not perfect, but I love the Huey show while cooking sunday lunch, and there is some good music played. I can think of loads of cuts the BBC could make which would improve it, not make it worse…why axe 6 music?

I bought some ebuyer value 200mbps ones a few weeks ago. I now have much faster broadband connection, and they always connect quickly. Best thing I have bought in ages. Wish I had not struggled with wireless for so long.

We did the eurocamp holidays on france / franco swiss border when our kids were young. It was hard work, but we enjoyed it. Sat Nav would have helped when we got lost in Paris and my 6 month old daughter filled up her car seat with dihorrea (had to carry her through motorway services dripping poo all over the floor!), but other than that, it was hard work and great fun.
