Not got a spectral but had a few canyons, great Bikes and never had an issue with service, my road bike is a canyon, 5 years old never missed a beat. OH has a nerve, full xt kit amazing for the price again no issues, I did have a hardtail I sold on but it was a great bike.

Next bike for road will be a canyon and mtb probably a 29er Neuron.

39 now will be 63 when it’s paid off, plan to clear the odd bit of debt over next few years then start to over pay hoping to cut it back to 55, if not will take my lump sum from pension and use that, will def pay it before 55 one way or another.

I got them as they wouldn’t look un-roady on the road bike or out of place on the commute or mtb but 2 road rides and an mtb ride I’ve given up on them, just not comfortable which surprised me as in the bike shop they felt like my other shoes but there’s no give in them while my am9 and tahoes have some stretch and give, these don’t.

As someone else said above we also purchased our house from a seller through purple bricks, I had no contact except the first viewing appointment, I do know there in house solicitors were terrible, I used a local one we knew but the seller used there’s based in Southampton they delayed and delayed complete joke. Luckily my solicitor was on point but me popping in everyday probably didn’t help bet they were glad when mine was dealt with.

Should of said I run candy’s on all my bikes, mtb, hybrid, road all the same pedals.

All the 4K games run on the standard ps4/xb1 so will wait until the next gen ps5 or xb2 it’s not about graphics but game play, just finished zelda on the switch now that’s an awesome game!

About 5 maybe 6 years ago I went to Afan once a month, loved it had some great days out on the bike, both in the summer and one epic rainy day, sitting in the cafe after soaking wet.

Then one sunny midweek day I took the oh, she had been a few times but she likes to go at her own pace hence why we cycle midweek together. Doing the final descent on the wall and some idiot trying to get past at speed, very little places to stop and let pass so he clipped her tyre and nudged her off the track, haven’t been back since. Trying to get her out on the bike since has been difficult at best, I know these idiots are at all trail centres but it killed off going to Afan.

I’ve got “invested” in Lego a fair bit the last couple of years, the previous new ucs the snowspeeder is great, I’ve got a fair few sets, will def pick up the new bb8, but the falcon is massively out of my price range. Big birthday next year maybe a hint or 2….

Closer look at the rack looks like two of the cable clips have broke leading it to then drag, not too bad considering I’ve had the rack 6 years.

Slightly off topic but on topIc with 2018 bikes, with the new headshoc on a couple of bikes, what’s the odds the new top end sirrus will have the same head shoc? Or will it stick with the inserts on the forks.

Looking at new bikes next year and I know I need to be quick to get a speshi road bike in the size I want, as they sold out fairly quick last year.

Wouldn’t touch an st as said before they are not secure, highly nickable and ford refuse to acknowledge the issue.

I had a piece of electrical rubber tape left over from something, it’s pretty expensive to buy £30 a roll so wouldn’t recommend it to buy unless you have a friend in the trade, I put it both sides of the diamond seems to of stopped the clatter.

Bikes had an upgrade, now tubeless, doesn’t feel any lighter, but guessing out on the trails it will, hopefully will take her up to Scotland in the next few weeks!

Still enjoy riding this bike just brings a grin to my face every time!

Anyone ride a 650b+ and a 29+ is there much difference, I’ve got a fuse and it’s a great bike, main reason is im short so thought fuse would be better but itching to try a 29+

GoPro session, first time trying this the other week and it’s pretty cool for a camera so small.

Last one is a cannon eos-3, old style film camera, got numerous lenses, last used 10 years ago, great camera but digital changed my camera habits.

Picked up some deep heat pads, makes it a bit more bearable, still feeling a bit daft makes you feel like I wish I had come off the bike somewhere!

I feel daft if I had fell off biking I would have my GoPro evidence of being macho on the bike but to fall into a table and bench is just daft, although just goes to show flat pedals next time!

I’ve got a few g-shocks, latest is a black/yellow combo from Japan, full digital, auto time, tough solar, great watch!

Mines with John Lewis, all bikes covered and not expensive, again I’ve never had to claim.

My car was dropped off at the local garage this morning for its annual service / mot, regular guy in the garage asks the usual how many miles, I tell him 2000 went to Scotland twice last year, he laughs and sayes “yeah yeah will see” comes back “you’ve only done 2000???!!!” No need to service as it was done last year, new cars should be able to have 2 year intervals on low mileage, but will give it the once over check.

So I’m not reliant on the car, if I go into the city it’s the train, Cannock midweek train again, work I walk or cycle, big week shop I walk to work, taxi or lift home depending who’s around.

My OH doesn’t drive, I have a 13 plate ds3 paid off a couple of years ago, I got it a year old had a poor life first 12 months. Annual costs insurance, petrol, mot, service, probably costs me £1k to have it sat outside the house.

Mine have all been delivered on Thursdays, seems like the container ships over the weekend then it’s couriered to the local UPS once you have tracking you can track it all the way home. The estimated once in tracking is spot on!
