That one is next on the list, just the cost, but it’s an investment my current rack has to be 6 years old and apart from the electrics hasn’t missed a beat.

After lots of thinking, reading reviews etc,. I’ve gone for a trek fuel ex 8 plus, just trying to find one in my size, or wait till the 2019 models.

    @sefton

Fuse I think it’s an awesome bike, wish I had spent more at the start but it was an experiment which turned out to really enjoy riding it, part of the reason I was tempted to change for carbon version.

Been quite lucky with the suspension as it’s setup perfectly probably the first time in years where it’s just right. The only issue is it’s a bit front end heavy, so was looking for the reba’s Or fox forks on the better spec bikes but can’t find them anywhere.

Yep the gc are ok and haven’t had an issue but they are 2 years old now and some wear and tear looking at replacing them. Specialized only do the purgatory controls which are slightly different in the 3.0 the spacing is wider than the gc’s so was trying to see what others are using.

Yep great bike, i mit’s mine, it went everywhere Wales,Scotland, Cannock lol

Tempted to get a new frame to build at some point, if only I could squeeze a 3.0 plus tyre in one!

I’ve had a Thule euroway for 10 years now, bar the cabling coming loose in the motorway and a rewire it’s not let me down at all. Fits in the boot of the car justabout, has the tilt function so I can get in/out the boot. I have the 2 bike version but they do a 3.

Don’t get 2fo, I have a pair not used bloody terrible, not wide enough for wide feet, almost crippled me…

Yep as others have said photo everything, don’t forget the electric and gas meters, my last rental I told the landlord there’s a standing charge through British Gas, I showed him the money keys and gave him a local map where he could buy gas and electric, I left the meters with £2 on each, would of lasted a week.

When I tried to claim my deposit it took a month for the agents to get it going as he refused there calls, then disputed we left the gas electric in arrears of £30 on both, turned out he hadn’t added any money and it ran over. The estate agent refused my deposit and claimed an admin fee etc.. i went in and showed my time stamped photos on leaving day, not too happy they authorised my deposit return and claimed there expenses off the landlord.

Reason I went through this, was the original agreement was with his wife it was her flat but he got it in the divorce, it was the first time he had seen the flat in the 10 years we lived there.

No other pc or laptop, it died about 18 months ago, but collecting all my photo’s on memory cards when I really want to sort photoshop etc and phone needing upgrading etc…I’m stuck where to transfer all the data so thought a mini pc would be ideal. Wouldn’t use it too much hence why I don’t want to spend too much.

I think this years stumpy comes in boost, so you can buy it 29er or 650b+

Would love a carbon one, very tempted to upgrade but that defeats why I got it, just to blast round the chase on!

Yep! I think it’s a great bike, I originally ordered a stache but changed my mind and went for the fuse, mines tubeless but occasionally it fails, and the only negative is the really chainstay chain clatter, otherwise it’s my go to bike! I went for the midrange one as didn’t think it would be the bike I ride the most but it is now.

If the equal pay claim actually goes through and there pension black hole it’s not rosey at Tesco, they need to make £1.5b in cuts, it won’t be pretty if when they go belly up!

Whsmith have there newspaper business to fall back on but the high street store could go next.

Sainsbury’s own Argos so they won’t go next, they will close over 100 branches and move them into nearby Sainsbury’s stores, already have a few of these locally, you can’t pick up at the same time they work like Tesco click collect.

Im guessing as they move into bigger hyper Sainsbury’s stores they will have the same service, locally they have moved into small Sainsbury’s stores.

Didnt maplin start off as mail order? Remember seeing them in pc shopper back in the 90’s

Should be fine just avoid picnic tables, I cracked a rib at the top of spooky wood, slipped and hit the tabletop. It’s not fun riding down with a cracked rib…

The blue stuff is easy enough or challenging speed depending..

There’s very little of interest in arrecife if your thinking of heading that way, well I’ve not come across anything, the tourist office is quirky and the view from the top floor of the tallest building isn’t worth the drive up from playa Blanca tbh. The beach is nice but there’s very little if anything else, my oh thought capital city then shops but there’s very little choice of that.

There could be a really nice sea front park but it’s so run down and trashed it’s just a shame it’s not loved, feels like that across the island there’s some nice bits that had been a great idea but left to run down, the walk into peurto del Carmen is like that there’s little cafes in mini parks but it’s been left with no maintenance.

Saying all that we love going over there, friendly people, fairly clean beaches and clear blue sea, and it’s warm in the winter!!

Playa Blanca is nice enough, walk along the sea front, it appears to stop at one point, keep going you will end up at the harbour, really nice spot to grab some lunch although not much goes on in this harbour. Expensive boats just sat there. There’s a market on Wednesday’s I think…

Just a heads up, if you activate Christmas saver and till October add money at the till you can add up to £360 Tesco add £12 plus your shopping points and then triple it, it’s loads better than c2w scheme, although I’m not sure what the max is, but some forward planning!

Pretty sure it’s just the decrease, the evans increase still stands.

I didn’t realise the a380 was in trouble or planned to stop making until I googled it, also but should of guess how popular the new Boeing Dreamliner was, saying that have only seen one of each at Birmingham, but the a380 is massive when flying over you!

I was at fort Dunlop when it flew over it’s stupidly big for a passenger plane and in our modern day world can see why the smaller Boeing is more popular with airliners.

I tend to collect Star Wars Lego, not the ucs ones as I don’t quite have that reach of money although I did get the snowspeeder that came out last year! Awesome Lego model. For Christmas my oh got me the Lego ghostbusters firehouse it’s currently sat in the box awaiting a build day that will be an epic build!

It’s was a trail pump, should of said! I’ve got a track pump at home for those big tyres! It’s more I use the bike on the road to get to Cannock etc….then let the air out a bit, pump back up on the road.

The tyres are the big one, no one seems to have any stock…

I run mine plus all year round, only one reason I just haven’t found an economical set of 29er wheels with boost compatibility,

But saying that it was loads of fun this morning on the plus bike, 4am heading to work no one about I could ride as I pleased almost carried on past Work!

I’ve always stayed at craiguart b&b 8 might be the max they could do. Right on the doorstep for glentress, walking distance to the town for a beer and food, breakfast is great and both owners and dog very friendly! Although having to chase said dog for my muddy shoe back wasn’t ideal.

If you don’t want to pay parking, loads of other places to park, or get the train like I do, cheeky trails from hednesford all the way to birches valley, then breakfast in the cafe then enjoy the trails.

Yep I rode last week, was riding well! Only the rollers closed but it’s been a while and could be a while I’m sure there’s a big build day soon to help get it in track.

I’m looking at a nearly New kuga as my next car, neighbour has an older one and it looks great, drives nice and compared to my ds3 I can get 2 Bikes in the back, he was a bit surprised when I asked if I could try before I popped to a dealer to look!

I’m still using some Altura attack 3/4 awesome shorts about 7 years old still as good as new.

Doesn’t appear they make them anymore, might order the 540’s as they are in “short” supply…

Really like these, I wonder if all my bits from my crosstrail will transfer across to a new frame, tyre clearance looks spot on, hydro discs, might be a on to a winner with this!

I’ve got a crosstrail, after 15 months of commuting to work, I hate it, it’s a horrible bike just not enjoyable to ride at all.

It’s heavy and the suspension is useless, doesnt need it and weighs the bike down. I’m looking at the new Boardman urb range, they will take the same tyres as the crosstrail which is one of its plus points and they feel lighter and more fun to ride.

Doesn’t help ive put the mudguards on earlier than last year, and they rattle!
