My draw at work contains a spare tie, name badge, safety shoes, bakers hat, and then all the paperwork (crap junk) out of my pigeon hole. I have a weekly chore of moving it from my pigeon hole to my draw then once a year i empty the draw to the bin!

Xbox doesn’t have iplayer and 4od etc, as they are free and MS wanted to charge for them.

As others have said, very little between them, exclusives are the way forward, Gears of War or Killzone?? also mates, if they all have xbox’s then thats the way forward if not then PS3.

I tend to go through months where i just play the one console then swap to the other, my mates have both so i ended up with both consoles, I find the xbox pad better to use than the PS pad which is decades old now, sony haven’t changed the design since the PS1, i also find xbox gold is vastly superior to the PSN, i know you have to pay but its well worth it.

Also if your quick tesco’s currently have 20% off all xbox hardware and accessories in store and online, might be able to pick up a bargain, you can pick up an Arcade for just £87!!

All the above sauces can be found in tesco stores that have a world foods ailse. A look in the caribean part of the ailse should give some rewards!

I spotted one on the shelf the other day when you read the guide on the back it sayes not to be used neat and can also be used as drain unblocker. Im back to work tomorrow so will take a pic of the said sauce.

A blast round the monkey and dog at cannock, one emergency mechanical before we started had to replace Bottom Bracket on my P7 in the car park, after that was a great ride. Dry trails?? this time of year no puddles, felt a bit cold post ride, otherwise an enjoyable morning. Was a gentle reminder of how unfit im allowed myself to get over the winter.

Luckily i phoned a friend, he works next to evans in brum, going to pick up a bottom bracket and a Birches Valley pre-ride repair job!!

Theres me praising Shimano SLX BB’s having one for 3 years, now the damn thing is broke. Not happy no time to fix it before tomorrows ride, guessing its a non-biking sunday.

When i got my P7 i kitted her out with some Revs running at 140mm found as a hardtail too much bounce and tbh i never used the full 140mm even when i tackled the downhill stuff at cannock. When i serviced them i stuck the spacer in so they now run at 125mm much better handling bike now.

Ride whatever your comfortable with, i see people out there with no suspension or some with no gears, if your happy don’t be a sheep and enjoy the trails.

I think it depends on lots of factors tbh im going through this sort of thing at the moment, i know everyone takes the pee out of me working for tesco, but im currently a line mgr earn a good enough wage and get by. Im working up to deputy level so that involves doing my usual job role as a line mgr and then doing the extra to learn as a deputy and doing things for the group collating figures for our regional manger to review. For the last 8 weeks ive been working 14 hour shifts every day, i come home and sleep then back to work. My other half is annoyed with me but understands as i make sure that i have my at least 1 day off to spend some time together, but last night i got home and thought why am i doing this, is it worth the extra £5k a year and all the grief when i could be enjoying life, like the op above im early 30’s the next 6 months could define my career or i could be a line mgr for the rest of my career.

Its a tough call, and only one you can make.

I can understand why (being a tesco manager) we had a customer 4 weeks ago came in with flip flops on and walked into one of our cages,it was a metal cage with the edges exposed, was a nasty accident took the end of her toe clean off, ive never seen so much blood from a toe, made me feel sick really ill.

She is claiming as they usually do, not an incident i would like to see again.

He stood there rabbiting away, we got his life story about his friend and the bike and at first it was his mates bike, then when i got annoyed and asked him what he actually wanted, he said he wanted his bike back, i just laughed and said i could check the cctv then pass it to the police, his response was don’t worry about it!

I brought my Citreon on HP, deposit was my 206, got about 5k for that, got citroens crazy cashback of about £1.5k and then got a reduction as i brought a late plate, 05 on july 29th, could of waited for a 55 plate but they offered a chunk off the purchase price. I then paid £125 a month. The car is now mine, no reason to change until i have a chunky deposit as the prices of cars are just daft at the moment.

Not at all!! Hardtails are much more fun, i ride a P7 with 125mm Travel and its an awesome blast just chuck it down the trail and it soaks up all the bumps and drops. Now my other halfs bike is a proper XC HT Giant XTC EX one of the older lines, light as a feather and just 80mm travel, just means i have to ride it differently, guide it through the trails, much more skill required but when i translate that to my orange makes it more fun!!

Ive had 3 french cars over the years, the first was a 106 GTi, great little car, nothing went wrong with it at all. I had the car from new for 3 years, only problem i had was when i had an accident involving another driver his fault but the car died. Replaced it with a 206 xsi now that car i had numerous issues with this car had the engine cutting out fault normally on the motorway at 80ish mph just full cut out. In the end the car adopted a noise which no one could figure out the fault so i traded it for my current car.

So currently i have a C2 VTR its an 05 plate so 6 years old this year and its still running, its got approx 35k on the clock and still runs like new, yes some of the carpet has come away under the dash, but thats a recent thing, and the plastic bit under the steering wheel has never quite fitted properly but thats the charm. For me its a great little pocket rocket as the guys at work call it, 1.6ltr engine in a tiny little car, big enough for biking and does the job. TBH i have no need to change the car, plan on keeping it a few more years yet.

We’ve been told yesterday that its a public holiday and not a bank holiday, if scheduled to work we can choose to have the day off and have it paid, if we are scheduled and we choose to work its 2.5x pay, if scheduled off your off and tough! if your scheduled off and want to work its 1.5x normal pay. TBH its not too shabby, im scheduled to work so will be doing a full shift!!

Try living in a 3rd floor flat, no signal issue at all, its been windy, raining, snow and clear signal all the time! once they turn off the analogue signal it can only get better.

The monkey weathers really well, the old ftd not so well, and the new ending to ftd bloody awful!! last time i rode out i did ftd, monkey and then sneaked in a few old sections at the end, they were awesome as no one has rode them for months!!

LOL at the Ken Block comment, did you see him in WRC this year, i did he was shockingly awful, saw him on the welsh stages as well, he looked very underskilled when compared to the other drivers racing through the stages i was at, even the junior wrc drivers had more skills than him!!

I would say the stig filmed the weekend is an ex-rally driver and some of the filming is still Ben Collins, maybe Tiff thrown in here and there.

C – Get paid for 36hrs, but my contract states a minimum of 36hrs per week, on average i work 50hrs but get paid only for 36hrs.

The store i work in we only have Managers/Team Leaders and Bakers full-time the rest of the store is all part time, not good!

I got one a couple of years ago, when i had a massive off on the bike, hit the deck hard, i took the edge off the one corner of the watch but its still intack and working like a dream. Would happily buy another if i need to replace it.

Its an awesome game, i got this when it came out. It killed my previous xbox off so wasn’t too happy as i had a 4 week wait to play it while my xbox went to germany for its annual holiday.

The set pieces in the game are rewarding and the combat gets better as the game goes on, the last boss is predictable for the rest of the game is great, some of the moves are superb i won’t spoil it but upgrade the special moves. The sequel is out this year and tbh i won’t hesitate to pick this up.

Oops thought this was about the new style ones, the older ones i had a pair on my Trek 6500, best brakes ive ever had, they are still on the bike, i know the person who brought it off me and he loves the brakes, great action. Its the new one’s ive had some trouble with. The 2010 model.

Got mine as an early release, they can be very powerful but they need alot of finger energy to get them full on, sometimes this has lead to a few crashes as i pulled them half expecting to stop, well i didn’t.

The design is nice and they compliment the bike well, but the lever height adjust screw, i lost both of those in the first month. The original pads are shiny and bright, so had to replace those pretty quick.

Now they have bedded in and ive adjusted how i use the brakes, they are fine if your on a budget, if not would go for something else.

Its just a plastic gun to hold the wii mote, not worth much tbh. It came with a zelda game, thats quite a good blast. Have never used it since, not even sure where it is, a bit like my wii.
