This thread just justifies everything ive mentioned earlier. Why would you train for 4 years and then dedicate the next ten years of your working life honing your skill to give advise to would-be DIYers? if ya wanna know what paint to paint on to your door(badly)then go to B&Q and ask the numpty behind the desk.If you wanna a pros oppinion, get ya wallet out.Sorry if this sounds mean but tough S~~t

Sealskins are great but do feel a bit baggy for techy stuff, fully submersible in water but they do get a tad warm.£27
After my labrador decided to eat the left hand Sealskin I changed to 661 Storm, very nice snugg fit, warm and 80% waterproof, after a few hours or so they will soak through.£25 oh and they do come a little small i have tiny hands and even a medium feels tight

I was a little worried about disc contamination too.I fitted superstar kevlar pads three rides ago, last ride was a scorcher and the power did feel better.Ive just ordered new 180mm disc and mount so ill rub off the pads before fitting, guess ill find out soon.

Will 180mm fit in most rear ends?I ride a 17″ 2010 spec hardrock pro,it came stock with 160mm?
If they will fit I’ll just go 180mm f/r

What about floating rotors, worth the extra cash?just looked on superstar, the 203 floating rotors are heavier.I ride mainly xc trail centers etc.If the only benifit would be less warping would these be overkill?

    What are they used for?

I would defo consider the zafira,it’s no longer than an astra as it shares the same floor plan, meaning no body roll. For such a tall car it drives nice,It has seven, five or four seat combinations. You can even fold all the seats and have a van.
I recon you’ll get a 2005 or 2006 for around £5000 if you buy private.

Get a Vauxhall zafira. You can fold the back two seats into the floor, three bikes in the boot two on the rack with room for five lads, road trip anyone?
