Real Laugh with ours, We had five to play with. The first ended in the fish pond, the next three ended up heading towards Canvey Island at an altitude of about 100 ft, the final one just about cleared the back garden and ended in a tree. My nine year old seemed to think that the tree was about ignite – It didn't in the end, but it was funny seeing him jumping up and down. It reminded me as an eleven year old you would let off a firework and then shout 'leg it!' to your friends…..

I got Freesat as I live in an area where freeview reception can be a bit ropey depending on the weather. I am assured that Freeview reception will be OK after switchover, so really it's only a temporary thing. I get BBC and ITV HD from it , but recent changes to the BBC encoders mean that the BBC 'HD' pictures can be barely better than BBC standard definition normal pictures. In terms of content there's numerically more channels, but you don't get channels like Dave, Virgin 1, Sky 3, Fiver, Five US and Quest which do have some good shows.

If you can get a good freeview signal, don't bother, otherwise go for it.

Not in at the moment, but waiting on an e-mail. I need to make some system changes at work, but I need to know what to change, thus the e-mail.

Until then I'm carrying on as normal.

XT normally, but have been known to use PG970s when poor, depends what's on offer at the time.

I'd probably consider PG980 and SLX too if they're cheap enough. Haven't used either yet to have an opinion .

My 05/06 Trance 4, Doesn't look particularly wonderful, could be a 1lb lighter but rides really nicely with a 16st lump like me.

Certainly rides better slightly longer than 100mm, I've got 100-130 mm revelations and they tend to be left at 115mm, I've considered something new but have yet to be convinced.

Read this about his time at the FA – His management style appears to have been carried over to the Royal Mail.

The BBC coverage has been so much better than the ITV coverage of previous years. The improvement they could make would be to replace Jonathan Legiard with David Croft – His 5live commentaries have been exceptional this year, tied up with Martin Brundle's knowledge would make the best package for next year.

There's a lot of bits and pieces. Benfleet, Leigh, Thundersley, Daws Heath, Hadleigh, Hockley, Hawkwell & Rochford all have rideable areas – but the problem with much of it round here is it all 'cheeky' or undefined and needs to be linked by roads, in and out of gates, or avoiding walkers. It helps to be willing to stop and smile a lot. It can be very stop start at the weekends. The old dears get rather irate around here when you creep up behind them and ring your bell….

There's a load of stuff about this on the internet – some with the same basis as UFOs, some with some scientific basis.

This is one of the better sites

I suffered from simvastatin side effects for nearly two years until I stopped taking them (against my doctor's wishes at the time), so I'm rather cynical about their benefits.

I used to have a set of 120mm Marzocchi MX comp ETAs on mine, pootled about happily until I went uphill then put on the ETA, worked OK for me, but you certainly wouldn't want any longer!

I always liked Babylon 5 – more spaceships than you could shake a stick at. The “White Star” being my favourite.

Do you take Statins by any chance? One of the side effects they don’t tell you about.

But in any case get it checked out by your GP.
