IMHO it’s a boring route the valleys have a lot better riding than this. And £65.00 for the privilege. 🙄 ❓

I have the Dremel brand. Useful for slicing into rounded off cleat bolts also used it for a touch of podiatry removing dried skin and a whizz for drilling into and getting at deep seated verrucas. Other than that pretty useless tool IMHO.

I seem to wear a cap and helmet on the road bike, but recently not wearing a helmet on the mtb and today’s ride maximum speed 40 mph on the mtb and I should no better having split two mtb helmets over the years with the OTB routine. I honestly think I ride faster without it.

If the club is run and at the end of the year at the A.G.M. there’s very little funds left in the account all well said and done. Charge what you think is a fair price for what you are offering.

But at the end of the day it is a cycling club NOT a savings account.

If you look back at the T.D.F its only been the last 15 years or so that they started wearing helmets, prior to that no one did. I have split two over the years with the over the bars experience. Still feel like a nob wearing one on the road bike.

Same here Sram X7 2*10 gxp gutter seal technology lots of grinding on steep climbs big ring looks naffed maybe the bottom bracket also . With a 104 bcd chainrings seem expensive. Perhaps better of buying a Sram x9 chainset instead, not much difference between the price of B.B. and chain rings compared to a new chainset. No problem with my other bikes all Shimano.

Average speed on the 26er is 11 mph on a 20 mile odd loop lots of climbs, same loop on the 29er is 12.8 mph it does’nt seem any faster but obviously is. I love riding bikes what ever the wheel size

Being lucky enough to have a number of bikes I have just bit the bullet and jumped on the 29er bandwagon and ordered a Grand Canyon 9.9 seems to get fantastic reviews and a bargaintastic price.
    Hopefully delivered next week .

I have entered quite a few through the years the road sportives are the biggest waste of money paying 50 notes for riding on a public road that you can ride on any day is just crazy. Enduro events can be fun if your riding on private land different scenery and the likes. Its just so expensive to drive to these events with parting with £40 plus to enter.

I love the ride quality of Titanium after countless aluminium frames I decided to bite the bullet, first I bought a Litespeed ti full sus then a Lynskey ridgeline HT. Both get used and still look like new, another benefit of TI frames anti ageing..
