I share your pain endless punctures are a problem. I even tried plastic slipe strips but the edges burst the tubes.

I ended up getting some schwalbe tyres off ebay that were much better they have a raised tread patten that seems to help keep the thorns away.

Bikescene in Guisborough google em sell mega thick inner tubes also which I havent used but would appear to stop a zulu's spear!

I got hold of a bicycle pump mount bracket you bolt on your frame and cable tied it to my helmet, it has a little velcro strap for pump and this works well.

We have a quinny buzz and it isnt a patch on the phil & Teds sportbuggy so much better build quality and can sling a nipper underneath if you have another.

I have one use it for trail centres mainly, it is really confortable, unless its really warm. As said above its not like a proper full face job, but it would certainly help in a face plant situation. If I could only remember to not spit…..

Go and stay with Paddy and Maureen at Chapleton Steading self catering place. Its lovely and right on the national cycle way in Boat of Garten just outside of Aviemore. Its a great base and we go to regularly. You can ride everywhere from the house either into the forests or up into the gorms. You might even get a ski late November!! Basically they get variety of aged and derivatives of ex lease hire vw panels vans in from another company, so you buy the van you want/can afford. They they convert to the spec. you want, we just got the crusader conversion with a hard top, as will be a bit warmer in the winter. Had our first weekend away this weekend, great van and great fun!

I have a ford SMAX loads of room and plenty of power in 136pf diesel engine and they do a turbo nutter petrol version fromteh focus RS. Handling pretty good also.

Bikes pre booked, 5 day holiday, bikes turn up 3 days into holiday, front rotor bent, saved by Endless ride folks. Easyjet not interested one bit, communication terrible about when they would arrive, staff in airport on return dismissive, fill a form in. Basically told to whistle by customer complaints, no refund, not interested in bikes hire costs etc.

basically awful, will never use again.

Hi mate, I have doen a full change of bearing on my hustler, I had a bearing dolly made to knock em in and out that sits on edge of bearing so doesnt knacker them when you fit em, email me at stephen.tatham@virgin.net and I will talk you through will send you dolly also for teh price of a few power bars!

We stay at chapleton steading twice a year have just come back from a week over new year. Its a on National cycleway also, loads of really nice riding round the woods behind the place over to carrbridge.
