I love em others wont. I personally had to fit the firmer spring and changed the shim pack to make them firmer. As for wiper seal service/change its just like the Fox service but with a greater interval, I check and clean mine every 6 months and change the oil once a year without any issues.

I ad this problem and phone mojo. They said the thread will be slightly damaged, you will need an M8 tap and die nut fine thread. If you can get one just run them down the but and the threaded part of the shaft. They told me you should be able to turn the nut by hand with no resistance. HTH

Wasn’t there a similar occurrance somewhere else up north a couple of years ago? Cant remember where exactly, but it was north of birmingham.

Hardy folk up north, we have to deal with all sorts of things, fishing wire, barb wire and walkers to name but a few.

I reckon brakes are boring due to the fact that they make you slow down. 8)

Type 2 here and have been for the last 6 years. Decided to get fit when i found out, so got the bike out.
6 years on and I’m still riding and now running. Did suffer with cramps on short rides but the cramps have lessened as the muscles have become stronger.
So IMHO I think cramps are probably down to two things hydration and fatigue. But as others have posted on here and elsewhere if it was down to low electrolytes the whole of your body would cramp up, I’m no expert but sounds feasible.
I’ve tried all sorts of high fives and nuunn drinks and I just find that if you keep hydrated with water, corporation pop until it was privatised, you should be fine as I did find myself cramping up quite badly with the additives.
They don’t work for me but might for others, trail and error.

Couple of things spring to mind regarding the colour choice
1: (like her dad) No taste?
    2 : Colour blind?
3: Printer was running out of coloured ink?

How much has it all cost ?

I’ve got two G.D’s and they have been absolutely faultless and that’s with my +16st bouncing up and down on them. I’ve changed saddles 3 times and I’ve not even stripped or serviced either of them in two years . They aren’t going to win any beauty contests but they do a job that other have failed to copy IMHO. Built for riding not for posting! ;)

Waits for terminal failure pictures to appear.

I’ve got two cave fish and two shrimp. Not much help I know but they are fun to watch because the cave fish are blind they don’t really stop swimming about. They did eat my other small fish when I first got them as they go for anything when they get fed. They don’t bother with the shrimp though?

Was going to suggest pinhead system but have you seen the price of them now £100 on CRC. I’m sure they used to be £40ish and that was about 3 years ago. I’ve got a set, they are good as you get all round security.

The dropouts on the Salsa never move unless you undo the blots.. They have a mech hanger built into the dropout. HTH

Yeah I read that artical and that’s what made me buy the kit. It’s the terminology I’m struggling with, it might be clear as mud once I read the destructions that come with it. I’ve fitted the firmer springs in both, coz I’m a lump, but they both feel too soft.

I might start using the peg and card set up, they might think a motor bike is behind them, so I can watch them part like the Red Sea ;)

I like to wash mine in the shower then give it a wipe with antibacterial hand gel. It comes up a treat after that, sometimes the wife might give it a clean if she’s feeling in the mood. ;)
