I’ve read up a little on various FB’s and I believe Salsa had an issue with chain rub on the tyre, has this been sorted now? That Salsa would look good on Southport beach ;)
I noticed a tiny bit of play in mine too but have put it down to play between bottom seal and cir-clip. Be interesting if anyone else has this same problem.
I’m sure you can pop the spring off that makes the lever spring back. I’m going to do it to mine and fit a bolt on top to help me turn the knob. You have to take the cartridge out to do it.
Front one yeah but the ass saver one forget it. Just put the cash towards a decent pair of winter shorts, can’t really call the water proof. Oh and a set of braces to hold up your shorts.
So how is it any different to a copper paste costing a third of the price , do Shimano put some super duper ingredient which makes it more bike freindly ?
No they are not, if you are tightening summit up they can have massive difference in the amount of force you have to apply to achieve a specific torque setting (no problem if you are using a torque wrench)
I’ve been tightening stuff up wrong for the last 25 years ffs
I use a Mobi v-17 straight after I’ve finished riding, washes the crud off without using any chemical cleaner. Just keep the lance away from bearings, headset and seals.
Use THESE but just use some m8 bolts, nuts and washers instead. CRC sell them and you get the extraction/insertion parts. Just match your bearing number to the pack you need.
