For some reason mine has started to dig in at the middle as I have managed to make a gap from the middle to the top of the toe(if that makes sense) so it pushes in there now. Going to try whiskey tonight see if that helps, TBH I didn’t realise that you big toe moved that much.
See the rains finally arrived and it’s time to check how sealed my light is now. I was going to do the jug of water test but bottled it. I will try and get out this week in the rain but it will depend on my toe getting a wee bit better.
Antibiotics I want me toe nail off , looks like I’ll be visting 3 para for their special treatment . I’ll probably be dead in a week and wont be a strain on the NHS then.
I use Marino wool ones, ok your feet get wet but they stay warm, had seal skinz but the build up of sweat just ends up staying in the sock. Try the Marino ones they are better.
Now build something like the IMO car wash, so you can just sit on your bike get an all over wash(once a week) and blow dried at the end. I’d pay for that service.
Just set up stans crests with halo choir master ust tyres, really easy to inflate and could probably use them with no sealant but not taking the risk, as my mother said always use protection.
Tape or rim strip I don’t think it matters. I did mine yesterday but used tape it’s a bit more faffing but it turned out ok plus I am using ust tyres. Follow the instructions on the stans web site and you can’t really go wrong. If you use tape don’t forget to fit a tube and tyre first for a couple of hours as it helps push the tape down.
I don’t know what Kaesae uses but I use silicone grease and it seems to last longer than other types, but I really pack it into the bearing. Max bearings are expensive and if your changing them every 6 months then your better off getting cheaper ones.
