Someone’s got his mojo back with his new bike ;) All depends what you want to spend? Hong Kong phoey ones are cheap and cheerful, you either get a bad one or a good one. Personally I like Exposure, expensive if you buy new, due to the lack of cables. Also helmet light, I think , is a must just to look where you are going.

I’ve hemailed Joe a couple of times and I’ve always had a reply, if its actually Joe that replied. Really helpful in sorting stuff out even with the older frames. Good stuff!

All that went through my mind all day was ‘Why didn’t I buy one years ago!’ I lived on the Southport coast for over 30 years and have had various bikes I have pushed round the dunes, but the Mukluk glided over the sand with grace. Still buzzing now!! 8)
The best cheapest bike I’ve bought :D

I tried a caravan water pump, fitted a bit of hose and a hose gun. Wasn’t brilliant but sort of worked. Oh and you will need a 10 or 25 lt drum.

that is correct, you are trying no to have any air in the chamber

I’ve done the oil change and cycled the fork to get the air out, it just seemed a lot of oil as not that much came out?

Oh and I put 5wt in, instead of the recommended 2.5 :|

So I could run a Rohloff a belt drive and a dynamo hub with one of those 9:ZERO:7 frames! I better get saving.

Now why did you have to mention belt drive!

    I’d guess about another £1k?

That’s what I thought, by the time you sort wheel builds, tyres and general faff.

That’s a good price for the pug, but how much extra would it cost to get it up and running?
