Excuse my thickness, but do the amounts have to be accurately measured or is it a bit of this and a dash of that? What I’m getting at is that I can get ammonia/water mix due to me working on refrigeration systems, but it’s hit and miss as to what strength the mix would be. Plus I can get neat glycol too and I think there is a jar of glycerine in the cupboard. Interesting this thread, just need to find some latex now.

OCB it’s a cost thing really, I would like to use some flows or crests but can’t afford them plus my hubs have 36 holes so that’s why I’m going to use them.

Think if you used a cassette made of cheese it would still dig in. Just persevere it wil come off, think I used a hammer last time to help things along, stay strong you will get there in the end. Once you have the cassette off just clean it up with a file or buy a steel one.

Just leave the wheels as they are, I don’t see the point in another colour but black?

They can be a pain in the arse to get tyres on but they will fit, you just need to give them hands a good work out ;) What works for some doesn’t work for others. As said make sure the bead in in the center and just work the tyre on the rim, get them thumbs pumpin!

Can you tell hope that I do use a torque wrench and that my slx still cuts into the hub  . So every now and then I, somehow, mange to get them off the hub and give it a file. I have two steel ones waiting in the wings and will fit them when the aluminium ones give up the ghost.

They cover loss of earnings and payout if you die. The quote is for gold cover, class c employment and is £159 for the year. It’s to give the wife piece of mind if anything happens.

I’ve used a monkey bone on mine instead of the speed bone, it’s a lot neater.

You will probably need to type it in as links don’t seem to work from iPhone, well from mine anyway.

I’ve thought about changing the bushes myself. I haven’t because I’m a s**t house but got some advice.
To remove the bushes I was told to use a washer that has been filed down so that it fits through the bush and then you should be able to flip it so it catches the outer edge of the bush, then use some threaded bar to pull the bush out. Before you have a go remember to measure how deep they are in the fork leg.
I also got told that they have to be sized for each fork, not too sure about this?
To fit bush I imagine that you just tap them home.
If you do manage to fit new ones can you post up a pictorial.
