An LBS guy near me measured an XX1 and XTR cassette and came up with the same total widths and distances between cogs.

I haven’t read the latest info, but I was sure the preview blurb said Shimano MTB 11sp was the same width as 10sp, so could use existing freehubs, unlike their road and SRAM etc

SP(sp?) do a 15mm now as well as the traditional 9qr. No 20mm that I’m aware of.

Here’s a question, I know on the MTB I often mix different front and rear tyres (Tread/Width/brand/etc) for their respective benefits, do people often do this on their Road bikes? or is the generally done thing simply having a nice matching pair of tyres?

Giant do a Front/Rear specific tyre for their more expensive models.

Parts guys spends hours over the coming weeks jumping through Audi HQ hoops.
I go in to order a dipstick, plus full set of pads and discs.
Whilst collecting, parts guy takes photos of the offending catch fitted to my car (without my prompting on progress), to show his superiors.

Proceeds to give me 30% off the order I’ve come to collect, saving me over £80…..all for a sub £2 part, which Audi are now remaking for me!
