My maintenance with the gym shut EOD; 50 push/ 50 Pulls ups/ Crunches daily. Then some sprints. 10 sec sprint, 20 sec jog x10 – 5mins. About 30 mins if you do not mess around.

Bike ride local offroad loop EOD through the woods no gates on my steel HT 45 mins. Big climb and mellow dh.

Trail repairing this weekend.

I was safe today at Glentress. Took my DH bike down Berm Baby Berm and the Admiral.

I like the coffee and mag deal. Though the coffee does not last long.

For me personally the health benefits of solo cycling, in the deep dark countryside away from everyone is not selfish

I guess depends on where you live too. How you Infil and exfil the trail. No stops etc. If you head straight to the trail (with ref for mtb use) I do not see an issue.

I have some DH trails outback, To get there I cross a back road that runs along the hill slope. Also leads to a nice long fitness loop that is 700M at the top. Basically a drove road. Just going to keep riding solo.

Time for an ebike to rip around the woods outback.

Time to put the bikes away. Not important right now.

Hopefully I will make the 100 meter dash from my house to the woods without being stopped.

6ft, got a small Vitus E-Escarpe and use it for messing about urban flatland and lap some Enduro trails with it.

I was in the outdoors so much for work, the enduro mtb thing keeps me sane. Big climbs, mountains, the dh part. Like Infil, blow shit up at the top and exfil back down :D If I do not get out for a few days I go nuts. Used to doing the mileage in the hills.

As for deserts. Man tried every performance fabric to stay cool. I had the pleasure of mostly walking in mountains and villages.

I miss it too but the next chapter begins. The military machine keeps moving. Just enjoy the freedom.

Mhor84 is nice (House lager especially after a ride). The trails in Balquidder are excellent too. A great base.

in beltfed, mostly 5.56 and a few special machineguns that we had chambered in .338 lap magnum. Nice reach :)

Guns are just a tool. Whats the hype. I am former SF and now run a bodyarmour company making plate carriers for the SOF community. I should love guns but meh, just stuff to get the job done. Made for a reason. Nice to stay current with weapon/gear development but it gets old. Stay current in tactics.

Although I do like pre 1900 stuff and if I collected. It would be mostly blackpowder and early, like first gen cartridges. Early blackpower revolvers.

But then there is Lego. My passion.

Peebles is a great place to live. One of the many great places to live in Scotland. All in all Scotland is an amazing place to live.

Rain, soaked trails. Quite a mob this past 2 weeks tearing up tweed valley off piste. Sick of riding with packed tools to fix it all.
