Is the one on your ebike the hybrid h1900 spline? That’s what I’m looking to get , got a good deal on it and it’s 6 bolt so not need to buy new rotors.

I’m about the same weight as you maybe heavier but if you’ve had 3 sets that have been fine that’s a good sign.

There is a cheapo one on eBay type in rdk dropper.

Or I think ks do them but you’ll have to do a bit of searching online to find one

Syntace look a good option freehub design is great , grease ports and good sealing to keep the crap out.

They aren’t cheap like 300 for pre built rear from Evans and 220 from their own website for rear , quality costs I suppose.

Are they worth it IYO ecky-thump?

I actually like planet x proline 365 bibs , around 25 pound and have been comfortable for 4 hour rides for me. People do say don’t skimp on bibs though so it’s up to you.

@Ecky-thump that seems to be the main failing of pawl and spring freehubs , especially the ones that pull straight off , they get clogged with grit and water then fail. Didn’t think of syntace never used them but if they work for you worth a look.

I don’t mind the maintenance with Shimano hubs it’s a 5 minute job but the main gripe people had with them was the freehub strength and them failing.

Dt Swiss hubs with the original 18t engagement seems like the best option for strength and reliability but not sure if it’ll be enough engagement I do like technical climbs and moar engagement would help with that.

Hopes warranty sounds good though so leaning towards keeping them.

Have you had good results from them? I’ve heard Shimano hubs are terrible but never had any experience with them

I haven’t had mallet finger so can’t help there but are you having food with the antibiotics? I used to take them as a teenager for spots and when I didn’t eat and take them I would get awful stomach pain.

    Hope you heal quick dude

I am planning on upgrading the wheelset just trying to get some use out of them

They are abit s*** the original freehub went and was replaced via warranty but it took ages

If you want better braking grip the DHR minion would be a good choice maxxis do it in ‘wide trail’ so it is a high volume 2.4.

I would get the double down as well if it’s gonna be on the rear as it adds a lot of protection

It might be hard to find this flavour on the internet tho so you might have to order from lbs

This has also happened to me , all trails at my local except the main climb onto the moor and a gravel descend (two most used routes) have disappeared from the segment explorer but all the routes at a nearby forest are still there but it is more sanctioned over there than my local.

but the other day I did a few trails at local and they still appeared on my ride log and I was able to look at the times just not on the explorer which is strange
