Onone smorgasbords here. Run them around 40 psi and they’re perfect. £25 to £30 for a pair too, cant go wrong.

The trails are great around there, ask the young lad in the shop for the best ones, he knows his stuff.

The pub is excellent, food is absolutely superb but it’s more of a food pub than a drinking pub. There’s a couple of little pubs in little straeton that’s 5 minutes away in a taxi. They are much better than any of the pubs in church Stratton which was surprisingly disappointing for a night out.

Oh and you’ll love the camping pods, really good for the price.

Run mine as an ss for commuting and the pub. Absolutely love it.

I run 120 forks on my c456, they are slap bang in the middle of the range the frame was designed for and they are perfect. Great all rounder set up.

Oh and another vote for the JLD here too, I’d buy 2 for my sons

I’ve never personally had a single problem, quite the opposite actually. Takes balls and honesty to come on a forum and apologise frankly and admit the problems. Not many would do that. Makes me kind of love onone even more.

These do seem very padded around the ankle, feel very secure on. Hoping they are pretty waterproof too.

Cheers everyone, think I may try the increased psi in the Rons for the Blackpool ride. If its too hard ill look at some slicker tyres for the coast to coast.

Thanks for the advice. So if I’m going to buy new tyres can you suggest some that wound be good for the coast to coast ride? I’ve looked everywhere and they all seem way too slick or too focused on off road

Here’s my inbred (26 not 29 I know) had it for a couple if weeks now and I’m deeply in love. Took a little while to get the right ratio but now very happy with 33×16. I can highly recommend carbon rigid forks.

Some good suggestions here, can’t find any bargains for sale at the moment though. Cozz, sounds like you’re a lot fitter than me mate!

Those big apples look good but are they ok for occasional trail riding? Look very slick

Won’t be anything technical, I’ve done it before on very nobbly tyres but on a much heavier bike

Because to a lot of people their bike is their pride and joy so they want it to look nice. Simple as that.

Got a set of the funn bars the other day that slackalice mentioned above. Very impressed, really good price and the bars feel pretty high spec. Cabot recommend them enough and there’s loads of colour and width choice.

Me and my fellow onone rider had a superb few hours around rivington this morning. I struggled to keep up with him on his plush fox forks and scandal frame as it was my first time on my singlespeed inbred. Think I need to fettle my rings a little.

i’ve just ordered a large but i am 50/50 whether they’ll fit. email me if you want them and if they don’t fit me they’re yours.

Totally agree with you Kristoff. Ive had my c456 for 6 months and it is truly brilliant. Rode it all day round Hopton Woods recently and it was very comfortable and handled perfectly. The only component that let me down that day was the rider! I want mine to last a few years so I’ve recently got a ss steel inbred for the commute and thats superb too. Cant recommend Onone bikes enough.

Deary me. What are you all doing? May as well take a dump on the stem and rub it along the bars while you’re at it.

    leythervegas

Sorry that’s not for me. How can you put a big piece of ugly rubber on a beautiful frame like this?

    leythervegas

Thought I could just give them a gentle whack with my trusty rubber mallet and they’d be reet. Never mind.

Cheers for the advice and thanks for the offer junkyard but heard earlier that my 6 year old son has been picked for his first cricket match so maybe next time pal. Gutted I can’t make it to rivi as I’ve fancied exploring round there for a while and I wanted some miles in my legs before I go to the long mynd in Shropshire in a couple of weeks.

I’ve got the same carbon havens and I noticed you get much more feel from the front end and a little bit more flex. Easier to manoeuvre in twisty stuff too.

Cheers, 991 it is then. Never replaced a chain myself. Tried it once on my old singlespeed and I made a right pigs ear and ended up at my lbs.
