Does it require aftermarket products to change the travel?
or has the fork been designed with intent for this to happen?

ah might have to look into that, you think 140mm will be to much then?

The frame is fairly modern looking, I dont have any pictures of it,
it was an expensive frame set at the time, probably 2003 model or something, just had her powdercoated and has come up really nice.
No cracks or anything just what a 140mm travel would be like

Definitely I’m all for it. I said this on the forums and all the drivers amongst us said it was a pecking order and we are below them. Absolute garbage

People like you are the disgrace to the MTb world. With an arrogance like that your friends are probably only cyber ones. If you dont believe the death of a cyclist you best start living

To be quite honest dont normally excpect cars to drive on cycle paths,
I ride 2 foot from the path, with reflective jacket on (in daylight) and i always read traffic. When car drivers dont see you its bike vs. ton of metal.
    Statistics for RTC’s explain everything,
dont stand up for car drivers.

I drive a car and bike, but i will always leave as much room for a cyclist as i would car!

Thats it yes, because i love talking about my friends dieing Druidh,
No, but if people supported Smidsy then cyclists can make a difference.
Druidh the fact i was going on a 3 or 4 minute ride to the curryhouse and was crossing the orad seems pretty minor to the cars pulling out in front of me.
    LeeW i couldn’t agree more!

I suggest this whole joke making of no lights is dropped then, I’ve been hit by a car, my friend was killed and I will suffer the injuries for the rest of my life. I can promise you i do everything i can to be seen and more,
car drivers need to be told.

    qwety
have you ever been hit by a car?
I have and have lost all feeling in my right hand.
Car drivers don’t learn they dont follow the highway code themselves and they squeeze past at every oppurtunity.
    http://www.stop-smidsy.org.uk/
Well to be quite frank I’ve never had an issue with pedestrians

Well Pc Plod came round , not a bad chap actually advised me to get a set of “working” lights, thought it would funny to bring me some batteries and just said im not going to fine you because £30 would be better spent on a set of new lights!
These are the type of officers we need!

I was honest, £30 is £30 its better than lying to the old bobby and getting a serious doing im sure most will agree. With a bit of luck he’ll realise there are worse things in the world and not bother coming round, will keep you informed!

I’ve ridden the cairngorms for multiple years and do easily 15k of heavy riding a day,
not a fault, people just blame the product for there own uselessness

Whoever says Garbage doesn’t know what they are talking about.
Take a bit of care setting them up and they are small neat and powerful.
Sensibly designed and offer everything you need with no more.
Majority of todays hydraulics are attrociously over engineered. Who needs magnesium calipers that save 10 grams of weight? People just go on price rather than product.
Cannot go wrong with Elixir brakes and merlin cycles had a deal on them at one point
