What about Amterdam, do you think it’ll be any good for going out in the evenings?

Discussion today and we’ve decided on Rome! A nicer city i think and hopefully busier.

Does anybody know if there will be much nightlife at all in Rome early January?

Dont want to et there and find empty pubs and discoteque’s!

I guess it’s fair to say as a young group, we are going to relax, sit around drinking coffee in the day, and party throughout the night, whir leads me to the navigili district?

Is there still in atmosphere in January, or will i find everywhere closed and nobody to be seen?

Obviously leave the bikes behind ;) Probably catch the train down to Lanberis from Lincolnshire! and start from there. Hopefully the weather can pick up and we can have a crack at this snowdon horseshoe, i’ve never done any scrambling in snow though! (Although im desperate to go snowholing if anybody knows a good company to go with?)

Oh That doesn’t sound too bad! Yeah thanks for the advice! Might have a crack then, should the weather turn bad when we start i suspect we’ll just take the pyg or miners track

I know that Halfords do not, but they still operate with Cycle2work which is who cycle-scheme operate through. I am listening to your advice and am greatful, but i can assure you the quotation generate on the cycle2work site includes the VAT on the monthly payments, no “extra” costs are included.

I’m not stopping you from turning your computer off, your advice is appreciated, but don’t make it sound like your saving a life, your not

I’m not sure where its fraudulent towards anyone, and i’ll think you’ll find this has occurred on STW before. Neither is it fraudulent towards HMRC as they still recieve exactly the same.

I have checked it with my company aswell, the 25% s an advisory but as they say, they don’t want to be stuck with the bike so they’ll virtually give it away.

VAT nor NI is paid on the monthly payments.

    ah all good then :)

how will i come into the fankle at the end of the hire period, as far as cyclescheme say is that the only limit is down to the employer, at which my employer hasn’t indicated any limit as of yet, apart from asuming its £1000
The cost of the bike comes in at £610 and although the fair market price has to be paid at the end, this results in a small value. It also means i can pay the repayments back monthly which i can afford as i cant afford them in one lump sum.

Well at least the bikes good, my friend rides a Look 555 any comments on how it compares?

    NorthWind

I did yes, I was really impressed by the atmosphere of the campus, and liked the fact it was set out of the city a little bit. Really impressed, and they seemed well in there with the oil companies, chevron was it?

I know that Herriot Watt has definitely put a £27,000 cap on there fee’s so at £9000 a year that does mean you effectively only pay for 3 years.

Considering I’ve had offers from Edinburgh university, I don’t think it’s down to you to doubt my ability really is it?

And I’ve nothing against the Scottish, but when they think they can fund there own education and free prescriptions and all there nice new roads, I’m awaiting the day they realise there leaching off the English

Hahaha I’d love to see the Scottish cope independantly, they’d be bankrupt in months and begging for money

there’s truth in this, but with such a large sum of money it’s worth exploiting every option possible.

Again the threshold is £21,000. If I intended to leave uni with a salary less than this then really and truly, it would be a complete waste of time me going to uni.
